WCF Wiki

Since WCF already has a FB and a Youtube account, I think it'd be cool for the site to have its own wiki page to get around. People could make and edit their own articles for their characters and news and technical additions to the site, site news, official rp info, and more could also be put up there. Members could even get paid wp for every page or picture they submit to encourage them to share more information about their cats. It was just a random idea I'd came up with while doing some research. Er, thinking back, I should probably finish that...

Anyway, what do you guys think?

That's a good idea. :0 It would take some work though, and we shouldn't go too overboard for "every picture" and stuff. Maybe every topic or article? That way people won't be tempted to spam. xD

That was a really bad typo xD The topic should be finished before anyone receives WP though, since they might just give up on it.

I disagree with the "make articles for their own characters" part. Maybe Dragonclaw or someone really important and respected like him should get their own article. Otherwise, I don't think people reading the wiki need to know about us individually

Ok, I think this sounds amazing and it will definitely help the site but how do you like actually edit and stuff with the wiki if us members were to take part of the wiki O.o
Is it kind of like another forum? Anyway it sounds like another awesome idea (Windy your so creative >.>) and I hope that we can see this idea come true!

Do we do this wiki right here on WCF? Or do we make a page on wikia/wikipedia? If its the latter, it should be against the rules. No links to other sites yeah...

I'm neutral to the idea. Its not really necessary since StarClan already paid for WCF to be advertised constantly. And this would require a lot of work and effort :3 But we could give it a try.

Well, then FB and Youtube would also be against the rules Only WCF links are allowed. Technically, if it's made, it'd be fine. And Cheese, it would be for both the members and anyone who managed to find it.

I don't really think this is against the linking/advertising rules, because a mod can just copy and paste each new article. I think this is a great idea! (Does Wikia cost money, anyway?) Though I also agree on CheeseStar's idea...Maybe the GMs, Clan leaders, Admins, WCF reviewers, and Bot should have an article!
