Frozenshard awoke from her sleep. She nudged Coldkit some and padded out from the den. She missed her mate, but didn't bother to go back to the border. She grabbed some fresh kill and went back to the nursery. She bit into the bird and left some for the blind kit.

Coldkit felt her mother get up. She opened her eyes to see darkness still. She smelled the bird and walked towards it, almost stumbling. She caught her balance and bit into it, tasting its yummy deliciousness. She finished the meat that was left on the bird. "Mama, can I go play?" she asked, staring as if she could see, at her mother. Frozenshard meowed in response, "Yes, you may." Coldkit ran out of the nursery, following the scent of apprentices. Not knowing that they were asleep, she padded into the apprentice's den and mewed, "Do any of you want to play?" She may have been blind, but she could play. ~She's gonna be like Jayfeather was, determined to be a warrior, but instead of becoming a medicine cat, she'll learn to fight and hunt properly. ~

Sandpelt walked out of the warriors den. He longed to see his mate, who would accept him for who he is. He pushed the thought to the back of his head and padded over to the fresh kill pile. He grabbed a tuna and bit into it.

Shiningstar woke up. Her golden eyes shined in the sunlight when she walked out outboard f her den. "Hello." She meowed to everyone.
