WolfClan vs CougarClan

WolfClan and CougarClan have been fighting for years! Will this rivalry end in a deadly final battle or peace because of one forbidden love?

WolfClan- Lives in a large mossy cave with a surrounding lush forest and hunt woodland animals. Sturdy, thickly muscled, and loyal.

CougarClan- Lives in a rocky terrain with dense underbrush and hunt from the river. Fish and animals living nearby the water.

She is supposed to be evil, but looks up to Starclan, even though the Dark Forest sends her messages to kill Wolfclan's leader and deputy, then lead both clans. She never does, though. That's where she gets her name, Haunted.

Direstar slunk out of his den, narrowing his eyes as light filtered through the usually covered cave entrance. One of the patrols must have moved the ivy aside as they left. With a sigh, he closed the natural curtain and padded toward the main tunnel of the cave.

Pantherlily danced around the den, in a wonderful mood. She didn't know why, but today just seemed so bright and exciting! The feeling of something good hung in the air as she cleaned up the warrior's den.

"Hey Pantherlily." Shadowsong appeared behind her, her green eyes gleaming. "Need some help?" she offered, amused at her friend's evident joy.

Ghostfire nosed his way out of the den, his gray eyes blinking rapidly at the streaming sunlight, then let out a short sigh of relief as Direstar pushed the ivy back to its original position. Tasting the air, he padded out from the den, his tail waving back and forth.

Direstar gave Ghostfire a warm and somewhat tired smile. "Morning, Ghostfire." His deep voice boomed. It was gravelly like that of what the elders told of the ancient dire wolf's growl to be like. He fit his name well with his thick yet short soft fur and piercing green eyes. The voice was just icing to the cake.

Pantherlily beamed at her friend. "Sure! Today is nice, isn't it? The sky's so clear!" The pretty black she-cat purred. Twirling, she dropped some old moss in a pile.

Swallowflight slid out after her brother, blinking as she yawned. "Hello, Direstar," she meowed. Swallowflight stretched, silver pelt rippling. "Is there anythng you want me to do?"

Direstar's eyes shifted to Swallowflight. "No. The morning patrols are already out. Just relax for now." he mewed kindly.

Shadowsong laughed at Pantherlily, her voice like music. She nosed her friend, snagging some moss in her claws and dumping it on her friend's back. She laughed again, then quieted herself, pushing out pawfuls of moss. "There's not a cloud in the sky," Shadowsong agreed, her teal green eyes gleaming.

Ghostfire dipped his head at Direstar, his voice soft and ever so slightly guarded as he replied, "Morning." After a polite pause, the lean warrior added, "The dawn patrol has already left, so perhaps I could go on a hunting patrol later?" His silver eyes flashed with a humorous smile, and he turned as Swallowflight appeared. "Hey, sis."

"Hi bro," Swallowflight replied. She yawned again. "Hunting would be great. Wow I feel really tired today." Swallowflight loved hunting. She loved the feeling of wind in her fur as she ran and the taste of the prey. At the moment though, she couldn't feel that energy. Swallowflight stared sleepily at a crack in the floor as she waited for instruction.

Silentclaw approached the clump of cats. "Hey, if you're going hunting later, can I join you? It's a nice day today."

"Of course. We can all go as a patrol." the leader smiled. Direstar the politely excused himself, going to converse with the rest of his Clan.
