Life in Iceclan RP

Petalstar stretched and rolled onto her side, her jaws agape in a wide yawn, Petalstar forced herself to get to her paws to face another day in Iceclan. "It's been a few moons since Snowdeath's death, and Iceclaw returned to Riverclan and became a medicine cat...Hmmm why am I up so late anyways? Must be because I was up late...Hmph!" Petalstar padded out of her chamber in the Fortress, and looked around for Icee, ready to send out hunting patrols and border patrols.

Icee's ears instinctively pricked as he heard footsteps echoing throughout the fortress, but he smelled Petalstar getting closer. Standing up, Icee walked over to Petalstar, confusion evident by the expression on his face. "Petalstar? Why're you up so late?" He asked, his voice thick with sleepiness. He yawned, and nuzzled Petalstar sweetly. The black and white tom shook out his fur, and looked at the silver tabby curiously. "Is something bothering you?" The fur on his spine was not in its usual place, kind of everywhere because he had been laying on his back. Icee licked his back fur until he was satisfied with it being in its normal place. His fur was now silky, and his muscles could be seen through his sleek pelt.

"Nothings bothering me, I was just thinking about Snowstar's vanishing act." Petalstar mewed, and nuzzled Icee back. "I don't know why I've been sleeping in so late lately, I'm just always so tried." Petalstar mewed,and then she looked at Icee, and mewed "So, shall we send the patrols out for today?" she asked, then stretched again, shaking the last of the sleepiness out of her body. "Hmmm.....What is wrong with me today? I'm just so sleepy and tried, and I just want to lay down all the time. Hmph, maybe I have a cold of some sort...." Petalstar thought while stretching, then she began to groom her chest while waiting for Icee to respond.

"Oh.. Well, her scent trail was found by WindClan territory, but it just stopped, so they didn't do anything to her," Icee replied thoughtfully, his eyes clouding over as he tried to remember every detail, "it's like.. something grabbed her from above." He licked Petalstar's ear lovingly, "You probably have a cold. It's alright. Just rest for the day. I've got it." The tom's light, blazing green eyes dialted as the sunlight filtered throughout the fortress, and he nodded to Petalstar, then leaped away. "Phoenixwing, you'll lead a border patrol. You choose who comes. Then, later, Pain, you can lead a Hunting Patrol, you choose the cats. Then I'll lead the Border Patrol tonight," He announced, then coughed and walked back to Petlstar. He nudged her till she was laying down, and curled up next to her, laying his head on her side.

Phoenixwing flicked her ears at Icee, huffing ever so slightly as she rose from her paws, yawning widely."Border patrol?" she repeated, glancing at the snow outside. Brr, it looks cold today! exceptionally cold. She yawned again, tail tip trembling as she stretched. Her paws felt heavy as Phoenixwing took a couple pawsteps over to Desertclaw and poked him roughly in the rib. "Wake up, Desertclaw. Border patrol." Phoenixwing narrowed her green eyes and poked Icewing in the back.
