Prophecy: Four young cats will rise against the evil and try to stop them. Half will be killed, half will live. After the two cats die, a young rabbit will stop the evil.

Scarlett's eyes gleamed as she ordered, "Let's leave." The Bloodclan cats started to file out of the alleyway, towards the forest.

Brownpaw woke up, startled. "Four young cats will rise against the evil and stop them. You are one of those four, Brownpaw. Half of you will be killed, half of you will live." The voice in his dream said. But what does it mean?

Lionpaw barreled through the battling cats toward Brownpaw. "What happened?" he asked, dark blue eyes wide.

~It's fine! You can still be an apprentice! ~
"It's Petalapaw... Do you know how to help her?" Brownpaw asked worridly.

The golden tom looked at Petalpaw then shook his head. "I I can try, but I'm not medicine cat." he mewed unsurely.

"Find me some cobwebs... Please!" Brownpaw meowed, tears going down his eyes.

Lionpaw slashed at a tom getting too close and dashed to find cobwebs, coming back with as much as he could carry.

"B-brownpaw...?" Petalpaw whispered, her eyes barely open. "I-i'm sorry t-that I couldn't live...t-to see the r-rest of you-r destiny....b-but it n-never concerned me...." she muttered weakly, blood leaking from her lips. "G-good b-bye.." she mewed, her words filled with agony before her head rolled back, her body went into spazzms and she died.

"Petalpaw NO!" yelled a Thundercaln Voice from across the clearing. It was the medicine cat.

"NO! You'll be ok... I love you..." Brownpaw whispered. Tears started running down his eyes, then he looked up at Scarlett, mad. "You monster... You'll pay!" He yowled, getting Scarlett's attention. "Another apprentice? Geez!" She jumped into the air, and so did Brownpaw. They were about to collide when Brownpaw bit her in the throat and flung her behind him. She landed with a thud, and she choked, "You little brat! Lucky I have someone else to take my place." She smiled evilly, but weakly, then she fell limp.

Brownpaw landed right before Scarlett said what she said. He turned around, ready to run to Petalpaw's body.

But Gingerpaw was already there. "Brownpaw, what happened?" she wailed as Gingerpaw licked Petalpaw's ear.
- is this really graphic and um, really violent? cuz i don't wanna get into that. also, can I be in sand clan? also on eof the four? i am a medicne and young cat.-

Frosty stalked up, his eyes a glowing icey blue eyes that seemed to draw in all the darkness in the clearing."Ptah. Lucky blow kit. But you won't be so lucky with me.." he growled in his gravely dark, hate-filled voice. Frosty had some wrapped around his right fore-paw..... Scarlet's collar.
"Say hi to that she-kit for me!" Frosty yowled, and lunged at Brownpaw and pinned him down, his teeth aiming for his throat.

"NO!" Brownpaw spat. He slashed one of Frost's eyes, hoping it blinded that one eye.

Frost snarled and tightend his grip around Brownpaw's throat and he leaned down and hissed slowly "I told you, no kit can beat me!!!!!!" then he pierced Brownpaw's throat and stepped off his body and hurled himself back into battle.

Poppypaw raised her head and stared at Brownpaw. "I'm sorry," she whispered, her eyes glazing. "It's my fault. If I hadn't... kept you here, you would've... saved Petalpaw. Good-bye, Brownpaw. You have a destiny to fulfill." Her paws twitched, seeming oblivious to Brownpaw's predicament, and Silverpaw hissed frantically as she tried to help Poppypaw, but didn't know how. "And so.. do you, Silverpaw." Poppypaw whispered, her tortoiseshell pelt prickling along her spine. "Good-bye, good bye..." She slumped, all the life leaving her body. A ghostly apparition rose from Poppypaw's dead body. It was tortoiseshell, Poppypaw's spirit. Her back was straight now, her green eyes shining with pride. Then it disapated, watching Brownpaw with a glint of sadness. Silverpaw yowled.

"No... must... get... Petalpaw..." Brownpaw choked, his eyes hardly open. He tried to get up, but he limped over to Petalpaw's body, layed his head on her stomache. He looked at her stiff body once more before everything went black.

Rabbitpaw saw the way Frost killed Brownpaw. The way Brownpaw limped to Petalpaw before dying. A tear shed from his eye, than he leaped into battle, looking for Frost.

Poppypaw was padding along a green forest, and everything was calm, okay, the sun shining, the air full of prey scents. This must be StarClan... "Poppypaw!" A familiar voice called to her. "Sweetpaw? You're here!" She bounded forward to greet her sister, the light brown tabby with wide, sweet golden eyes. "I've found a pool," Sweetpaw mewed excitedly. "Where we can see the the battle. Come." Poppypaw followed her, their paws thrumming on the worn path, until they came upon a pool, filled with images of the battle. And just in time to see Brownpaw die. "No!" Sweetpaw wailed.

Brownpaw woke up in a green forest, and saw Poppypaw and Sweetpaw. "Hey guys. It Silverpaw ok?" he askedm padding over to them.

"You shouldn't have died!" Poppypaw whispered, gazing at her littermate. "You shouldn't have!" She peered into the pool, her heart thumping. "I can't see Silverpaw. She's gone." Sweetpaw scrambled to the pool, peering into the other side, her eyes combing every image. "Vanished," she whispered.

Silverpaw whirled around, snarling, ears flat to her head. "You'll pay!" she growled, lunging at nearest enemy, which happened to be Adder. The black tom's icy green eyes alighted on her, and ducked the apprentice easily. "You have good spirit," he growled, jeering. "You'll make a good BlackClan recruit." Adder snatched up the silver tabby by the scruff, knocking her unconscious with a swift blow, and vanished into the bushes.

"Where is she?! I want to see Silverpaw! I have to know that she's ok!" Brownpaw yowled.

"She's gone, she's gone!" Poppypaw growled, and dipped her paws into the pool. The picture of the battle shattered like glass, breaking in to a million pieces. "Wait," Sweetpaw mumured. She placed her black paw just on the surface on the water and thought over and over, Silverpaw. Silverpaw. Where are you Silverpaw? Silverpaw! The pool shvered, a faded image pulsing into view, fuzzy and indistinct. The shadow of a massive cat, padding through more shadows, a carrying something... with a flash of silver fur.

"SILVERPAW! WE HAVE TO SAVE HER!" Brownpaw yelled, pacing around.

Heather dodged the mobs of fighting cats, trying to find a safe place to locate her Clan(mates?). Climbing up a tree and hiding her fur in the thick leaves, she peered down. There was a wave of realization when she saw all the bodies and the trails of blood. Looking around, she spotted Rabbitpaw, who was in a pretty good position for the fight.

Where is Frost? Rabbitpaw thought angrily. He looked around, and finally found him. He hid behind a bush, watching his every move.
