The Beginning Can Be Frightening...

Ghostkit was her name. She was beautiful, but not on the inside. Unfortunately, no one could understand that yet.

She looked around at the new environment with her spooky, grey eyes. The underground feel gave her a slight assurance of safety, though she liked the idea of fighting. She always heard of the striking vibes it gave.

She wished there was someone there with her. Despite her hatred of others, she wanted someone there for her to tease.

OOC: Yes, this is in the Earthclan camp nursery or whatever.

Gingerpaw trotted out of the apprentice den. "Who... are.. you...???" she asked warily to the small kit. Gingerpaw had never noticed it before. She lay down and asked for the cats name. "tell me please..." she whispered, uncertain of this cat's power.

"I'm Ghostkit... who are you?" Ghostkit replied quickly.

Gingerpaw staggered. " I I am... Gingerpaw." she stood, and licked her paw.

Ghostkit smiled. "You wanna play a game with me?"

"What kind of game?" Gingerpaw was still uncertain of this kit.

"Hide and seek! I like to hide." Ghostkit acted happy and cheery, like boring kits should.

Hmm.... Gingerpaw thought, but decided it would be harmless just to play hide-and-go seek.

"You count and I hide, okay?" Ghostkit said, as she started running.

"Okay!" shouted Gingerpaw

Ghostkit kept running. She wanted a place that Gingerpaw could never find her. She decided to run into the medicine cat den.

OOC: Umm... we have one of those, right? xD

" Okay... One berry, two berry, three berry..."

Ghostkit quickly spotted a small, small nook in between some big objects and pushed herself all the way in between them. She curled up into the smallest part she could in that position and made not a sound.

"I am coming, Ghostkit!" yelled Gingerpaw. she put her nose to the ground. she tracked Ghostkit. First, she went in a few circles, then ended up outside the Medicine Cat's den.

Ghostkit fell completely silent as she heard someone stop near the medicine cat den.

Gingerpaw sniffed the air, then pounced behind a rock, and pinned Ghostkit. "Gotcha!" she squealed.

Ghostkit jumped, surprised and angry that the apprentice had found her. She didn't know how she could have done that!

"That was luck, Ginger!" Ghostkit said. "But now I wanna play a different game. What do you want to play?"

Gingerpaw thought. "what about we go on a hunting patrol?"

"I'm only a kit. Can I do that?" Ghostkit said, surprised.
