Re: How would u rate the Seekers?
You know, I was bored and I looked back at this.
And I nearly burst out in tears reading the comments that all hated Seekers.
Even though this is terrifically old, I'd like to point out a few things:
~Bears, though they might not be able to pad quietly, will scare the wits out of you, wether you are a cat or a human. Especially if it's angry.
~Bears are not fat either. It's just fur. And, a lot of bears have been suffering because of humans cutting down trees and whatnot. (I almost wrote Twolegs. ) They also aren't clumsy. Just cats are more agile, but bears can still hunt rabbits and birds and fish.
~And I never said Seekers was the best-I said I liked it and was sad because no one else liked it.
~Finally, to all you people who asked who in the world would like to read about bears (well, they also put in some rude words that insulted bears too, but I crossed them out), I'll answer: me! Wether it was a rhetorical question or not.

I think its just cause the series was gappy, and didnt come out within a few months of eachother. I plan to go back an re-read the series, ending with the 6th book (still unread!). Maybe this will change my opinion of Seekers. I can say I definatly like Urujak and Kalik!!

I voted for good. It's not terrible- but I can't really get into it.

Re: How would u rate the Seekers?
I read the first book and thought it was interesting but then it kinda went downhill after
- Spoiler:
- the magic bear thing...you know the ones that could shape shift or whatever? That was weird.

I'm not a big fan of the series to be honest. :/ I found it kinda...boring and...I just wasn't really interested in all fairness. ^^;

Ah well.
I suppose someone who sent Santa Claus a letter asking for a firebolt, in firm belief that Harry Potter existed and read stories out loud to imaginary ghosts at bedtime would be a bit different.

Um...
Anyway, I left all my Seekers books at home so they wouldnt get dented. I finished the first book- it was ok. I didnt really like Toklo any better. I liked Lusa's view of things from the Bear Bowl. There were a few details I had missed before that I caught now. Like, Toklo and his family hunted for grain by the train tracks. O.O
