The One

Dawnstar woke up in a small, dark place. She stood up, and meowed, "Hello?" "Hello, Dawnstar." a voice replied. It was her mother, Goldenstream. "The broken spirit will destroy you and your Clan. The only one that can save you is the one with fox colored fur." Goldenstream warned. "What do you mean, Goldenstream?" Dawnstar asked, but it was too late. Goldenstream was already fading away. "Goldenstream, wait!" Dawnstar cried, but Goldenstream was already gone.

Foxfur woke up. It was her second day being a warrior! She wondered where Brokenspirit, her best friend, went. She padded into the forest, and finally found her. "Hi, Brokenspirit!" Foxfur meowed. Then, a squirrel shot through the trees. "You scared my prey!" Brokenspirit spat, "I was about to catch it!" "I'm sorry..." Foxfur mewed apologetically. "It's okay..." Brokenspirit meowed, "I got a rabbit and two other squirrels, anyway! Let's take it back to camp!" Even though Brokenspirit looked as if she was cheery, she wasn't. She was never going to be as good a hunter or fighter as Foxfur!
Once it was dark, Brokenspirit padded into the warriors den, then she fell asleep.
She woke up in a dark, misty place. "Hello?" Brokenspirit called. "Hello, Brokenspirit." a dark voice growled. A big brown tabby with a scarred nose yellow eyes walked from the shadows, and hissed, "We've been expecting you." "Who are you?! And what do you want with me?!" Brokenspirit shouted. "I am Tigerstar. Do you want to be the best warrior in your Clan? Even better than Foxfur?" Tigerstar meowed. "Yeah..." Brokenspirit growled. "Then come with me." Tigerstar replied. "Ok." Brokenspirit meowed. She followed Tigerstar into the shadows.

3 moons later, Tigerstar has officially gained Brokenspirit's trust. She was about to graduate from her training. Soon enough, she came back. "Hi, Tigerstar! What are we doing today?" Brokenspirit mewed. "You're going to fight Hawkfrost. If you survive the amount of time you will fight, you shall graduate from training. You will still come here, but when you do, you won't be training, you'll be training an apprentice." Tigerstar replied, "HAWKFROST!" A cat that looked exactly like Tigerstar, exept he had blue eyes, trotted over to the two cats. "Yes, Tigerstar?" Hawkfrost hissed, "Is this the one I'm going to fight? She's tiny!" "Just because I'm small doesn't mean I'm weak." Brokenspirit growled. "Ready, set, fight!" Tigerstar shouted. Hawkfrost lunged for the tiny black she-cat, but she dodged easily. Brokenspirit yanked Hawkfrost's tail, and Hawkfrost yowled in pain, and then tried for her throat. Instead of him getting her throat, Brokenspirit pushed him, and Hawkfrost fell with a thud. "TIME!" Tigerstar meowed, "Congrats, Brokenspirit, you have now graduated from training."

Brokenspirit smiled at Tigerstar. "When do I get my apprentice?" she asked. "When you do exactly what I say: Destroy your clan. Kill all of them one by one. Some of the Dark Forest cats will help you." Tigerstar growled. "But why? I have friends there!" Brokenspirit snapped back. "Because I told you to." Tigerstar hissed, "Now go!"
Brokenspirit woke up. Everyone was still asleep. "I'll start with Swiftfoot. Then I could become deputy!" Brokenspirit whispered to herself. She tip-toed over to Swiftfoot and sliced her neck open. She laid back down, closed her eyes for a second, opened her eyes, got up, and meowed, "Swiftfoot has been killed!"
