Lightningkit scampered over a large rock and into a large pool of water. She stuggled to the surface of the water. "Don't climb over..." her head went back under.

Brightkit instantly climbed over and threw herself into the water. She had always been a natural swimmer. Ducking beneath the surface, she grasped Lightningkit's scruff in her teeth before paddling back up. "Frozenkit!" she mumbled. "Help me!"

Frozenkit ran to Brightkits aid, jumping in the water, and grabbing Lightningkits back legs and pulled her out of the water onto the rock "Phew! That was close!"

Applekit scampered after the other. She hopped onto a large rock seeing the scene. "What happened?" She asked tilting her head to the side. "Was it a HUGE water drop from above?" Applekit asked giggling her eyes wide. Seeing that Lightningkit was soaked she added. "It must have!"

Applekit gasped slightly alarmed and studied the area. Seeing a large deep pool of water she gracefully leaped over the water smiling loving the feel of wind through her fur. She landed beside the others.

Lightningkit saw her father and mother. Also, her uncle, Weaselclaw. Run kits! she heard her mother yowl. She saw Heavykit run and Darkkit's bloody body. "Mommy, daddy." she whmpered and ran off. Lightningkit's eyes fluttered open, tears streaming out of them.

Applekit raced out into the cool wind and raced to camp making sure Lightningkit was keeping up. She loved running and loved to feel the cool wind in her fur. She loved to imagine she was flying.

Applekit skidded to a stop in front of camp as she heard Gracestar's yowl. Applekit looked around for a moment and as if StarClan blessed her a mouse came out of hiding right in front of her. She gave it a quick swipe and padded into camp her head raised and a mouse dangling from her jaws.

Snowkit came back from a hunting patrol. He caught a squirrel and a mouse. He put them in the fresh kill pile then went to visit his sister. "Can you go get Gracestar for me, Snowkit?" Lilykit asked. "Sure." Snowkit replied. He bounded up to Gracestar. "Lilykit needs you." Snowkit meowed.
