The Hunters and the Assassins RPG

First topic message reminder :

There is a chosen group of skilled cats who dwells in the shadows. Their job is the assassinate whoever they are assigned to by their leader.

They are called the Assassins.

There is another group of cats who are sworn enemies of the assassins. Their job is the find out what the assassins are planning next and stopping them by all means, even if it means a death for them.

They are called the Hunters.

This is an RPG!

This roleplay takes place in the CITY.

Shadow (Lightingstorm) is the leader of the Assassins.
Cody (Streamfur) is the leader of the Hunters.

Drift stuck to the shadows narrowing his eyes. He saw Ivy and raced up to her. He enjoyed company. "Hello." He whispered.

Scarlet looked around. She had been assigned to kill Ivy. She hid behind a trash can and slithered through the shadows soundless like a snake.

"Hello!" Ivy grinned. She welcomed company but didn't recieve much because of her sharp tongue. She sensed some cat following them and nudged Drift.

Recognization flooded through Night when she realised it was just another assassin, Khoda. He didn't sense her presence yet so she sneaked away, slightly displeased that he had found his victim so quickly while she, was still looking.

Sliver's small beady eyes shined through the shadow. He had been assigned to kill a young and healthy leader of a new Clan, for it was a threat to the Assassin's resources and territory. He went around a corner, and immediately smelled the enemy's scent, but it was faint. He could tell other assassins had been there before.

Rogue heard a slight tapping of pawsteps nearby. Could it be an Assassin? Or a fellow hunter? All the same, its best to find out. She flattened her ears determinedly, following the sound.

Shadow looked over the city from his perch at the top of the abandoned subway's entrance. His eyes narrowed in thought. I should assign some cats to attack the hunters soon. They've been troublesome. he thought irritatedly.

Venom meanwhile was lying in the Assassin's abandoned subway, rolling about lazily. He was bored. He's last job had been moons ago and he had nothing to do.

we need a hunter leader! not me~

The assassins had been kept under control lately. Milo hadn't had to kill anyone for a few moons already. He was looking forward to finding a mate and living his life, when his leader called a clan meeting.

~to say the assassins are populating, they must be kept under control, they're spreading to their territory?~

"Venom. I want you to spy on the hunters. Tell me how many are in the group and find out their weaknesses." Shadow ordered.

~ Cody (Streamfur) is the Hunter's leader... Cheesestar, what do you mean? Sorry I have trouble understanding some stuff that others write. Could you please explain again? ^-^ ~

Venom let out a hiss of satisfaction and got to his paws swiftly. "Sure thing, boss," he smirked and disappeared into the shadows. He lingered in the streets, hoping to find a hunter who might lead him back to their territory, which no one knew.

His eyes gleamed when he spotted a dark brown she-cat. "Perfect," he mewed to himself softly as he followed her from a distance, his eyes never leaving her.

Shadow smiled evily. My plan is fool proof! he though triumphantly. He leaped from his perch and went to hunt.

~ Lightningstorm, post longer next time... ~

Rogue felt someone following her but there was no one in sight when she glanced around warily. Venom was blending himself with the dark. Rogue suddenly bolted off and Venom sprang after her. She could feel someone chasing her, no doubt of it. The Hunter swiftly ran through the streets.

Sliver stalked his enemy, underestimating his strength. In one swift move he pounced. but his opponent was quicker and stronger. He had him pinned down in moments. "got you guard down, sin?" the tom said. Sliver kicked with his back legs, but he was far too small for this substantial tom.

Shadow saw Ivy and Drift. He smiled wickedly. It's been a while since I've last hunted a Hunter. Shadow thought, chuckling inwardly. Ivy padded down the ally, oblivious to the approaching danger as Shadow stalked her. Shadow made himself pad soundlessly and slowly so he would be far enough for them not to sense him and close enough to watch the Hunters carefully.

Night heard a yowl of desperation and help. She pricked her ears. It sounds familiar... could it be Silver, another assassin? Horror rushed through her veins and she rushed off towards the sound. It really was him... and another tom, probably his target but she didn't care. She crashed into the large tom, knocking him off Silver.

Unsheathing her claws, which were three inches long, she raked it smoothly from his chin down through his belly.

Shadow heard a yowl and slipped away from his hunt, racing toward the fight. "What's going on here?" he asked sternly. Pesky hunters! he thought frustratedly. He unsheathed his claws and glared at the hunter(s). (I'm confused, who are the hunters and who is the unnamed tom?)

The unnamed tom is a Hunter... most probably... Silver is an assassin. Night came to help ~

Night hissed at the fallen stranger, bristling as she hit his head with a hefty paw, too concentrated to notice Shadow.

"What's going on here?" Shadow demanded again, swiping at Silver. He hated being ignored. (Sorry for such a short post :/)

~yeah, Sliver is being attacked, and the tom is the enemy. he's a hunter, let's just say. now some reinforcements are attacking... i guess~

Sliver sat up on his haunches, breathing hard. "Thanks, but I had it covered," he said, glaring at Night. (hehe, a tom's pride). But a sudden disturbance of the silence alerted him. The fallen tom's comrades were beginning to appear. There weren't that many, but definitely more than three.

Night hissed a warning, spinning around to face the reinforcements. She drew her lips back into a snarl and her claws glinted in the moonlight threateningly. Her tail was bristling twice its size and her eyes were murderously narrowed.
