"If you don't want your life to be slow and painful, I suggest you leave." Patch hissed. The toms scrampled away, their tails low. Patch turned to River and smiled. "Sorry for not coming sooner." he apoligized.

Fire may have been in Extreme Fighting, but she was no match for four gigantic toms that were two times bigger that her! "Somebody, help! Rage, help!" Fire called, no sign in her voice that she was scared.

Rage nodded and hurled at both toms, snarling the whole time.

~Four toms!~
Fire scratched a tom in the face then pouned on the other one. The tom started to swing around, but Fire kept a good grip. Then she wrapped her paws around his head and scratched him in the throat. The tom fell to the ground, blood spilling everywhere. "You little..." The other tom snarled. He puinned her down, but Fire had a plan. She hit him in the head; the tom fell uncontious. She scratched him slowly in the belly, hard. A pool of blood formed on the ground. Fire looked at the two dead toms with bloodthirsty eyes. Then she went to help Rage.

Rage merely swept Fire behind him with his tail and charged angrily at the two toms. "You both will die a painful death for even THINKING about touching her!" he snarled in rage. He then attacked them mercilessly. They soon fell to the ground, their bodies magled severly.

"Thanks." Fire meowed affectionatly. She licked him on the cheek then snarled, "Ok. Let's see who's next!"

"Thanks Patch. It's okay," River mewed, glancing up at him, smiling. Then she turned to look back at the battle. Her pelt bristled, but her eyes held only fear.

"You don't have to fight if you don't want to." Patch whispered in River's ear.

Rage smiled at Fire and nodded toward to large she-cats approaching them.

River ducked her head shyly. "Maybe I should tell you why I'm so afraid of fighting. I wasn't like this before," she murmured.

"Let's go to that tree first. It'll be safer there." Patch mewed, nodding to an old maple tree.

"Alright." River glanced around, then vanished into the shadows. Moving confidently, she shot up the maple and settled on a leafy branch.

Patch followed, looking around warily as he did so. He easily climbed the tree and settled close to River. "So, what were you saying?" he asked, a smile on his face.

"Well, when I was about 11 moons old," River mewed. "My father disappeared all of a sudden, and my mother got a new mate. He was very stern and cruel, and he seemed to hate me especially, but Thunder protected me, so I was fine. But then a moon later, he sent Thunder away to check something, and my mother was out hunting, he knocked me unconscious and dragged me somewhere. When I woke up, I was tied to a log, and so was my mother, opposite of me. He was torturing her when I woke up, and was slowly killing her. I was forced to watch; if I tried to close my eyes, he would stab me in the stomach. When my mother was finally dead, he turned to me and began torturing me too. I almost died, but Thunder came and beat him off. My brother and I ran away to live in the forest after that. I think he is still alive, around in the forest, but ever since then I have lost my taste for fighting."

Patch growled loudly. "I'll find him and..." he saw red.

"Patch! Patch?" River bolted to her paws.

"He's going to pay." Patch snarled. He then jumped off of the tree and started fighting to ease his anger

"Patch?" But he was gone. River frowned, sitting back. "Oh well," she muttered. "I think I'll just stay here"

Patch wasn't angry anymore after killing about seven cats. He returned to River, blood covering his paws and muzzle. "Sorry about that..." he mewed, looking at his paws and starting to clean them.

~Fire is still really angry, which means she's really deadly. ~
After killing about six cats, Fire saw one cat that looked like he was in charge of all the other cats. Fire lashed tail, telling the tom that she wanted to fight. "You want to fight (Making this up! ) Whitestar?" he taunted. A leader! Fire said nothing. All she did was trip the leader and pin him down, then she scratched him in the throat. Blood spilled everywhere, then the leader lay limp on the ground (It was his last life! XD).

Moon and Dream were just ignoring them.Moon had a scar on her ear.Dream licked it gently.
