DawnClan - The cats who love the morning sun. They normally fight individually in the open clearing.

Before Scorchstar could reply, Whiteshadow lashed her face fiercely. "Show some respect to your leader!"

Hollyleaf shreiked " Get away from me! IT WAS ALL SCROCHSTAR"S FAULT!" she lunged for Whiteshadow and slashed at her face. Leopardwing raced in and wailed " Hollyleaf! Stop I-" Hollyleaf turned and slashed Leopardwing's throat. Leopardwing gasped and her body crumbled and she fell to the ground, blood pouring from her neck.

Scorchstar was livid. "I have never seen such an dishonorable act!" He lashed Hollyleaf and she fell to the ground with a thud, her eyes lifeless.

Leopardwing coughed and chocked, her blood pounding over the ground. Leopardwing screeched when she saw Scorchstar kill her best friend and she wailed " NOOO! HOLLYLEAF! SCORCHSTAR! HOW COULD YOU! SHE WAS IN PAIN! IT'S ALL MY FAULT!" the blood pounded even faster at her words.

Scorchstar felt no sympathy. "She is killing you. Or would you rather she kill you?"

Leopardwing coughed " No..you don't understand...." she broke off, and her eyes rolled back into her head.

Whiteshadow and a few cats helped to bury both cats.

~AHHHH! SHE'S ALIVE! I DIDN"T PUT< AND THEN SHE CLOSED HER EYES AND DIED! Leopardwing is alive, she just pasted out from blood loss!~

~ You said Hollyleaf killed her! ~

~No, just because you get slashed in the neck doesn't always kill you!^.^ It depends on if the wound is deep or shallow! In this case is wasn't super deep, but it was deep so....maybe she could be laying in the medicine cat's den in a cat comma???~

Whisperflower and Almondnose were on a patrol around DuskClan's borders, while trying to find some prey. They had been told to hunt in this area so that DawnClan wouldn't be able to get the prey here. Whisperflower's guard was up, but Almondnose ket chasing butterflies and following mysterious scents. "Almondnose, we have to catch some prey," Whisperflower coaxed. but then she stopped. There was a dead mouse in front of them, its belly ripped apart by teeth, but the rest of its flesh still clinging to its fresh skeleton. The dry, sunny smell of DawnClan was lingering to it. Whisperflower shook her head, but she was aware that DuskClan had crossed over into DawnClan territory when there was a drought a couple of times.

Spiritgaze was filled with rage."Those mouse-brained dawnclan cats better not set paw on our territory or else."She hissed.

After going on one last patrol by herself, Morningstar headed back to camp and fell asleep in her nest.

Scorchstar leaped onto the High Rock and yowled," Let all cats who can hunt in the night gather beneath the High Rock for an announcement!"

Whiteshadow pricked his ears and padded over, settling on a dry patch of heather. His eyes brightened eagerly. Perhaps the battle was about to begin.

Whisperflower and Almondnose returned from the patrol, and sat at the foot of the High Rock. Whisperflower politely interrupted and said," Scorchstar, some DawnClan cats have been in the territory again. We should fight them soon."
