The Lost Cave

Applefur led her patrol through the territory. She jogged down a hill. At the bottom she lifted her head and she could smell rabbit. All of a sudden the ground started moving from under the patrol. Applefur was completely shocked. She screeched as the ground gave way and the patrol was propelled down down down into the dark.

Kitty wailed, she saw Applefur's head vanish underground! Then the ground gave way under her, sending her plummeting throught the air! "APPLEFUR??!!!" she shreiked in terror, she couldn't see a thing in the darkness! Starclan help us!!! Wait Starclan won't b able to see us down here!!! she thought in terror

Shardstep has been padding towards the Windclan camp. She was going to give them some celandine since it doesn't grow well on the moors, but suddenly the ground was moving. Letting out a yowl of shock she plummeted into the dark below.

Streamfur was leading a patrol near the Windclan border, and suddenly, the ground gave way below her and they fell into the darkness.

Rainfeather looked up from the thrush she had just killed. "What the.." Across the WindClan border, she heard yowls and screeches from many different cats. She ran over to see what had happened.

Not far up in the clouds, AwesomeClan was enjoying a nice brunch of crab soup. CheeseStar slurped at it, but then the air changed. A new wind came from below, with the smell of dirt; musty and earthen. CheeseStar looked over and saw a hole in the ground far below. It was of immense size; she could clearly see it from here. She went down to investigate.

Applefur moaned as she sat up. Everything was very dark and she could see a little hole of light coming from above. "WindClan? WindClan can you hear me?" She called. She jumped to her paws and felt her way through the dark.

Streamfur rubbed her head. Where am I? she thought. Then she spotted Applefur. She ran over to her and meowed, "Do you have any idea how we can get out of here?"

Applefur shook her head sadly. "No not at all. First though we should find a channel leading upwards. Streamfur thats where we fell through." Applefur pointed her tail up to the tiny hole. "That tiny hole fit my whole patrol! Were really far down. Speaking of patrol... WindClan! RiverClan! Is everyone alright?" She yowled.

All the Riverclan cats in Streamfur's patrol were all right. "Riverclan's good" Streamfur meowed to Applefur.

Applefur heard yowls of "Were good!" and "Were alright!" From her patrol. She nodded. "Lets get moving." She said. She led the way through the caves and chambers.

~Streamfur, can I be in your patrol of RiverClan?~

Iceclaw suddenly shrieked. The ground beneath her paws gave way and she frantically tried to grip onto the sides of the hole. "Help!" she yowled. With all her might, she threw herself out of the hole, panting heavily. "Streamfur?" she called into the dark hole.

Streamfur up at the hole when she heard Iceclaw's voice. "I'm down here!" she called up to her, "The rest of our patrol and a Windclan patrol fell down here! We're going to try to look for a way out."

"This place is cool!" Cedarpaw yowled. "Can I explore?"

"First, we have to find a way out of here" Streamfur meowed, "to do that, we have to explore around the caves, but we all have to stay together." Streamfur walked next to Applefur as they walked through the caves.

Hawkfire was sunning himself lazily on the border of ThunderClan territory, dreaming of mice and rabbits when he heard yowling. Lemme sleep people..... He turned around, ready to go back to his nap, but the yowling continued. Rolling his eyes, Hawkfire got up and hopped over to WindClan territory. Hawkfire saw a gaping hole spilling dirt into its depths and decided to have a peek. Who knew what good stuff WindClan was hiding? Hawkfire approached the hole carefully, smelling earthy smell of... well, earth. He padded forward, planning only to peer into the hole before leaving, but his paws tripped on a root, Hawkfire was sent hurtling forward into the deep darkness of the hole...

As WindClan and RiverClan were about to get going to find an exit she saw heard a shriek and turned around. She saw a small body the size of a cat hurtling down. She raced forward. "You ok?" She asked the tom cat.

"No," Hawkfire grumbled. "My paw's been mangled by a stupid root!" Then Hawkfire froze. "Wait a second... You're Applefur, WindClan deputy, right? Why are you down here? Why is RiverClan down here?!"

"Allow me to explain, yes my name is Applefur. I was patrolling WindClan territory when the ground crumbled underneath us. It must have done this all over the territorys."
Why is this happening to everyone though? She thought. "For your paw, try to walk on it. If you cant we'll find something to wrap it in for now and keep trying to walk on it." Applefur looked back up the hole nervously. "I wish we could cover that hole. I wouldnt want anymore cats falling down here. Also I suggest we all stay together." She added.

Hawkfire looked grumpy. :| "Sure," he muttered. "Oh, and I'm Hawkfire," he added, before limping away to sit in a corner.

Applefur padded back to the patrols. "Lets get going. The sooner were out of here we can cover these holes and be safe once more in our clans." Applefur looked back at Hawkfire sitting in a corner. "You coming? Or shall we leave you?" Applefur said with a giggle.

Kitty sighed, during her fall she landed funny on her right hind leg so it was hard to walk, but she bravely hobbled over Applefur, and mewed " But Applefur, how we get out it is too steep to climb and we don't even know where we're going!"

Silentwolf climbed down from Awesomeclans awesome clouds amd took a walk, when she heard a scream from Windclan territory. She sprinted over to investigate, and not looking where she was going, she fell into a hole. She screamed as she landed the wrong way on her leg and blood trailed from it, crearing a puddle of blood around her leg. "HELP! HELP!" She screamed. She tried to get up and ended up messing up her leg more. She screamed in pain.

Kitty froze, a cat was in trouble! She hurried over to investigate, and she found Silentwolf laying in a puddle of blood. " Silentwolf!" she cried, but as she hobbled over a root tripped her, and blood pounded out a gash in her injured leg. She limped over to Silentwolf, her injured leg trailing uselessly, and she fell down beside Silentwolf and panted " What.....pant.....happened....pant.....to you?"

Stormheart glared at Applefur. Standing by Hawkfire's side she snarled "Umm, I don't know. I might if you learn how to hold your tongue."
