Volepaw smiled at Petalpaw and whispered. "Thanks."

Cloudpaw purred watching Spottedkit. She pricked her ears and looked at Volepaw giving him a puzzled look. "Your leaving so soon? But its a kit!" Cloudpaw mewed softly. "Well, I want to go hunting with Petalpaw. Im so restless and ready to get out of camp too..." He mewed. Cloudpaw narrowed her eyes. "Fine." She growled. She whipped around to looked at Spottedkit and purred.

Volepaw narrowed his eyes at his sister and sighed. Sometimes Cloudpaw can be a pain in the tail. But now I get to go hunting with Petalpaw! He thought happily. "Ready when you are." He mewed turning to Petalpaw with a sly smile.

"Our kits shouldn't deserve to lose their father though...." Ravenshadow sighed and looked at his own paws and then at Bellawing. "Well...if she's going to be acting the way has been with you...Then perhaps it's for the best...that...you know." He looked at his kits and mewed. "But...I do hate the idea of leaving her alone with kits that I fathered....But she's got the clan to help her I suppose....Does that make me a bad mate and father? Having to choose between one mate and kits against another?"

"Up there!" She pointed her tail to where he was sitting on the tree. Tempestsoul fought back tears, and licked his cheek. "Don't move," She said calmly.

Bellawing sighed, "Well...these kits know you. And they'll be affected if you leave, but if you leave Featherfire's kits, they won't have known you, and be as affected as much as Flarekit, Iriskit, Twilightkit, and Harmonykit." She licked little Harmonykit, and purred. "But...I understand how you feel. You can stay with Featherfire. I won;t see you again."

"I..I suppose you're right about that..." He mewed softly as he rubbed Twighlightkit with his tail. "I saw already how much I mean to these kits...and how much they mean to me...." He stopped when he heard Bellawing say those last words. He closed his eyes and tried his best to keep his voice down. "Please stop that alright?....I'm tired of hearing you tell me to 'go back to Featherfire and not see you again'...It's not helping....I'm trying to bring us together as a family.....It's talk like that, that got me being with her in the first place."

"Well she's your mate!" Bellawing growled. "Fine...But I think you should be with the cat you love. Not be here with me, just because of the kits. It's just torture for you."

"Only because you didn't want me!!" He started growling back. "And what makes you think that the cat I love and you aren't the same thing?....What's torture for me is having this family break apart like yours did!" The fur on his back started rising a bit.

Bellawing began crying, "How dare you bring my family into this?! You stupid slobbery piece of fox-dung! My family had no choice! We made those choices so we could be safe!" Harmonykit woke up, "What's wrong, Mommy? Why did Daddy say that?" Bellawing licked Harmonykit, "We're just having a loud conversation. A...yelling contest." Harmonykit giggled, "Oh! Okay." She curled back up. "I think you better leave," Bellawing said quietly, yet madly.

Ravenshadow was now stunned. He realized now that he had gone too far. "Look...Bellawing...I'm sorry," He tried purring softly. "Please, don't do this....I really do love you...I'm...I'm just scared of hurting everyone...Please forgive me...I didn't mean anything like that about your family....I'm sorry." He nuzzled her a bit.

"Hurting anyone?! You just hurt me! How do I know you won't do that to the kits?!" She growled.

"I'm sorry," He mewed persistently. "I just got scared, and angry. You know what happens to me when I get like that. I would Never do that to our kits!!!" He glanced at them to see if they were still sleeping. "I could never live with myself if that happened....I love them with all my heart. And I want to do the same for you..." He tried licking her along the cheek and purred louder. "Come on..We both had a long day...I think in the morning when we wake up we'll feel much better."

"Fine...But if you ever go that far again, I'll make you leave." She laid on the other side of the kits, and Harmonykit crawled over to her and fell asleep.

Ravenshadow sighed sadly. "Okay...Good night Bella dear." He rested he head and curled his tail around the other kits. Closing his eyes, he began to fall asleep.

" 'Bella dear'?" Bellawing laughed.

Ravenshadow purred when he heard Bellawing laughing at what he called her. He wrapped his tail around hers and looked into Bellawing's eyes. "Yeah...Bella dear."

"That makes me sound like an old lady!" Bellawing cracked up.

Ravenshadow started to mrrow. "An old what?...Oh never mind. Hahahaha, oh well. I could always call you 'Bella darling' if you'd like." He moved a little closer to her so he could nuzzle her nose with his.

Bellawing smiled, and laid next to Ravenshadow. She laid her head on his side.

Ravenshadow purred and began to nuzzle and lick Bellawing affectionately. Then slowly began to fall asleep in peace finally. With a smile he purred softly in her ear. "I love you."

Angelpaw growled, "Too mcuh going on, and Mewfire's not even helping!" she ran over to Panther, and meowed, "Someone help me carry him back to the medicine cats den."

Mewfire rolled his eyes, and mewed "Well you do know dragging him is not going to help. So you wedge yourself under the lower half of his body, and get his scruff and lift him up the best I can." he ordered, waiting for Angelpaw to lift Panther up, his head already ached from the effort of lifting the fully grown tom.

Dovewing ran over. "Need help?" she asked. She watched as Mewfire told Angelpaw what to do.

Mewfire nodded through a mouthfull of fur, and managed to mew "Yesh, goz to *Coughs* meh den and gret some mosss readdy for Panther." he managed to say.

"I didn't say drag, mousebrain!" Angelpaw laughed. She did as Mewfire said, and waited for him to tell her to go.

"Ok, nowz lets get him to the medicine cat's den! But I wass in the nursery....what happend?" Mewfire asked, as they akwardly shuffled to the medicine cats den.

"Panther fell out of a-" Angel cut off as she tripped, but she didn't fall, thankfully, "tree."

Panther closed his eyes, the pain of moving making him dizzy.

Hail helped them carry the hefty tom, looking scared to death.

Sun tried not to cry as she saw how his hind leg was slightly twisted.
