Shrewpaws destiny

Chapter 1 ( Brambleclaws POV )

The clan was silent and the air was still...
It was at the dead of night and the whole clan gathered around Thornclaws dead body...
Brambleclaw was speechless. Thornclaw had always been a lively warrior and a skilled fighter as well. Brambleclaw couldnt believe he was dead...
"Tonight we are here to sit vigel for Thornclaw..." started Firestar. "He died saving Shrewpaw from a twoleg monster."
Shrewpaw was devestated and he leaned into someones fur. There were too many cats and Brambleclaw couldnt see who.
"Let each of us pay our respects..." Firestar continued.
When it was his turn Brambleclaw whispered " Your courage and faith in the clan will always be respected..."
He turned to look for Squirrelpaw. He was about to talk to her when she went over to Shrewpaw and whispered something into his ear. He nodded and they both went into the apprentices den.
Brambleclaw sat gloomily in the warriors den. Was he right? Did Squirrelpaw really care for Shrewpaw more then him...
Brambleclaw curled up uncomfortably missing Squirrelpaws sweet scent....

This is my first fan fic and it may not be as good as others but i hope you enjoy the story as it unfolds!

Chapter 2 ( Shrewpaws POV )

Shrewpaw awoke the next morning to find himself at... fourtrees!
But they were at the lake, how could he possibly be at fourtrees?
Then a cold wind blew through him turning his heart to ice...
A voice spoke: " You will face great dangers and problems, but there will be two...
"What? What do you mean?" asked a scared shrewpaw.
" I said you are going hunting what else could i mean?"
Shrewpaw opened his eyes to find himself in his cozy den with all the cats gone apart from Squirrelpaw who was standing over him.
Shrewpaw breathed a sigh of relief...
"Come on!" Squirrelpaw said playfully and licked his ear.
Shrewpaw emerged from his den and found all the cats doing thier daily jobs.
It was just a dream...
Shrewpaw followed squirrelpaw out of camp and saw Brambleclaw,Brackenfur and Dustpelt coming back to camp after a patrol.
Brambleclaw looked as if he wanted to ask Squirrelpaw something but instead shook his head and went over to the fresh kill pile.
Shrewpaw couldnt help seeing the dissapointment in his eyes.
But me and Squirrelpaw are only friends Shrewpaw thought to himself. Right?

Chapter 3 ( Squirrelpaws POV )

Squirrelpaw walked underneath the trees and gazed out unto the lake.
It was shining brightly underneath the suns gaze...
Shrewpaw sat next to her and his fur was shining...
Squirrelpaw gazed at him for a long time thinking until she finally realized:
"I love you." Squirrelpaw accidentlly said out loud!
Her fur glowed red with embarresment!
Shrewpaw was looking at her eyes wide open then he closed them and looked at the lake again...
Had she said the wrong thing...

Brambleclaw sat watching Shrewpaw and Squirrelpaw enter the camp together, thier pelts mingled and tails crossed...
He felt so upset he could cry...
"Whats up brambleclaw?" asked Firestar.
"Nothing..." Brambleclaw got up at left the camp to sit at the lake shore gazing up at the stars...
Maybe he wasnt destined to be with her...
He felt tears running down his face...

Second bit is correct but youll have to wait and see for the first bit.
Also Leafpool becomes invovled in this somehow... But im not saying anymore!

Chapter 4 ( Firestar POV )

Firestar lied down in his den and tried to think what to do about all the problems so far. First of all Thornclaws death. He was a great cat but Firestar couldnt do anything about it so he could get that out of his mind. Then there was Squirrelpaws,Shrewpaws and Leafpaws warrior ceremony... he would do that at sunhigh. Lastly there was the way Brambleclaw was acting last night...
Could it be Tigerstar? No it was something else... He remembered the way Squirrelpaw was around Shrewpaw and how Brambleclaw had left then...
Brambleclaw obviously loved her... but should he? Firestar could be putting her daughter in danger if she was around Tigerstars son...
No! What was he saying! Brambleclaw was loyal! He was nothing like tigerstar...
But still...

Shrewpaw shivered Firestar announced a clan meeting. He and Squirrelpaw were going to be warriors! He moved closer to Squirrelpaw and she looked at him eyes shining... He could feel Brambleclaw looking at him and when he turned...Brambleclaws eyes were full of sadness not anger and a little proudness about Squirrelpaw probably.
"Invaders!"
Shrewpaw jerked round! Cats were attacking the camp!

Ooh this is intense! Write more!!

Oh! Maybe Shrewpaw dies? o_O

or maybe Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight still get together..?
