The two sisters, Iceclaw and Snowlily return back to their old home in IceClan.. only to find the fortress empty, the tunnels dark and everywhere silent. The ancient IceClan members (lol) were gone without a trace.

- Iceclaw has fainted from the effects of being in a snowstorm for too long. She is unable to reply -

Wintermist huddled closer to Iceclaw, her pelt fluffed out as the snowstorm raged incessantly around her. She knew that her pale pelt and Iceclaw's shadowy ones were so indistinct that anyone passing would think they were rocks or something. She grasped Iceclaw's scruff with her jaws and started dragging her... anywhere. The cold was biting into her skin now, the wind roaring in her ears like a wounded beast, and the chill was reaching her bones. No, no, no... Have to find, shelter... Must, Wintermist gritted her teeth, her green eyes slits as she shielded them from the biting snow. Wait! Use your common sense! Your instincts! They had been at the border... by eagle rock? Yes! Then the line of trees wasn't far away.... Desperate, Wintermist grasped Iceclaw's scruff again and stumbled into the whirling snow. She seemed to walk for hours, her paws numb with cold, her long fur covered with ice. Finally, she collided face-first into a bush. "Yes!" Wintermist gasped, her throat rough from the intense chill. She dug her paws into the snow beneath the bush, relieved to find it shallow enough, since it was shielded from the storm. Creating a big enough hole seemed to take an eternity, and Wintermist was finally able to drag herself and Iceclaw into the hole, huddling beside the cold body. Her body heat quickly filled the tiny space and she panted, her eyes closing as exhaustion took its toll.

Snowlily just sat there for a moment and watched. She didn't need to ask to know what has happened. "I see he's discovered where he needs to be" she mewed quietly. Her eyes portrayed a look of pain and guilt for a moment, she was glad no one was around to see. With a heavy heart, she lowered her head and rose to her paws as she stared at the earth beneath her paws.

"Oh Starclan, help them...." Snowlily said as the looked up to the sky as she was able to catch a glimpse of the last stars disappearing into the vast sea of blue. She rose to her pads and walked along after the others.

~OOC: After the others? Who's the "others?" And lol, there's a snowstorm right now, Snow! Iceclaw and I are dying out there!~

~OOC: the others being you, iceclaw and fang. Ive been in Iceclan too long to be phased by that abd I apparently saved iceclaw from once already. ~

~You guys went ahead a lot. Now, I don't even know what to do... Apparently, there's a snowstorm right now, Wintermist (Phoenixwing?) and Iceclaw are outside in it. Snowlily is about to go after them and Icee, who ran away. And everyone else is asleep, oblivious to it all? ~

~OOC: Basically. Lol if you want you can just wake up and follow us.~

Lurching awake, Petalfrost opened her icey blue eyes to see Iceclaw and then Wintermist vanish calling out Icee's name. "Icee?" she mewed blearily, but suddenly she realized Iceclaw and Wintermist wouldn't both go racing into a snowstorm after Icee unless....unless something bad happend to Icee.. Petalfrost leaped to her paws, and raced outside of the chamber. "Ohh...Starclan I hope nothing bad has happend to him or Iceclaw or Wintermist! After all, they are running around in a blizzard! Wait...how will I be able to find them?!" that thought stopped her dead. But determination filled her and she raced out into the blizzard. The cold was bone-chilling, but she kept running. Suddenly a familar scent hit her nose, and she lifted her head and stared out into the endless white and called over the roaring wind "Snowstar?! Is that you? What's going on?" she mewed, utterly confused as she stared out into the bleak white land-scape.

Iceclaw felt something next to her. She nuzzled closer, feeling warmth spread all over her. It was such a great feeling. She could feel the numbness in her bones and shook the snow of her. She blinked when she caught a scent of someone familiar. "Wintermist?" her voice was hoarse. She glanced around. The snowstorm had subsided. "Wintermist? Wintermist?" she nudged the other IceClan cat gently with her pink nose

Icee, who had heard Iceclaw calling him, had gone looking for her, thinking she was in pain. He finally scented her, and walked in quietly. He saw Iceclaw and Wintermist, obviously trying to warm each other up. Icee leaned against the wall, waiting for something to happen. He didn't say anything until Iceclaw opened her eyes and started calling for Wintermist. "Good morning, sleepyhead," He purred as he walked over to the blue-ish she cat, his eyes sparkling with mischief. He laid down next to her, as he had just came into the snow, and was still warm from the rabbit den, and being in the forest. His green eyes clouded over in thought, and he blinked it away within a second. He laid his head on his white paws, and tried to think of something to say. He just tried to fluff up his fur so he would be warmer, but he was still shorthaired. His black tail tip moved left and right as he thought of something to say, but stopped, and couldn't think of any words.

Iceclaw opened her eyes a slit wider. Blue eyes met the green. "Icee? You cam back?" She whispered, her ears twitching and she leaned against him, feeling warmth spread all over her. She gently touched noses with the black tom, her tail curled over her paw as she rested her chin on them. But exhaustion overcame her and she closed her eyes slowly.

Wintermist's paws twitched, and she suddenly let out a loud sneeze. [lol] Her eyes shot open and her green eyes met Icee's. "Came back?" she whispered, her voice rough from the snow."Are you going away again? You should--stay." Wintermist coughed, her ears twitching. She wriggled into more comfortable position, curling closer to Iceclaw, her paws stll numb from the snow. Yet they throbbed... or was that just the numb feeling? Wintermist carefully checked each paw, and let out a hiss of horror when she saw her left forepaw. It was blackened from frost, tender and throbbing from a thin cut that run through thhe pad. "Icee!" she didn't call Iceclaw because she looked exhausted."Help me... find dock by the stream. It should still survive frost."

Icee's ears curled back and he flinched as he felt the snot next to him. (lol XP) "Watch it!" He snapped, digging his claws in to the floor. "I just came to warm up Iceclaw. I might come back..." His voice was unsure, and he looked confused in his eyes as he tried to decide his next action. Laying his head on his paws, he felt his warmth slowly dying down as all of it went to Iceclaw. Inside his head, he was wondering how Petalfrost was but he made no attempt to show it, forcing all the thoughts to stay in his mind. He couldn't push the pretty silver she-cat out of his mind, but he knew she was fine, which comforted her. "What?!" Icee asked, a little agitated from the day's events. "What?! Why..?!" But Icee soon saw her paws, and ran. The black and white tom ran as quickly as he could, his muscles flexing as he ran towards the frozen stream. Making sure his paws weren't going to end up as bad as Phoenixwing's (?) purpleish frostbitten paws. His eyes suddenly saw a leafy green plant, and he bit the root out, not taking the time to dig it out. Icee soon reappeared as he dropped the dock next to the gray she-cat, his eyes narrowed to slits with worry. He chewed up a few leaves, and put the poultice on her paw, then laid down next to Iceclaw again as he watched the two she-cats worriedly. Icee willed Petalfrost to come back soon, so they could get back to a safer place.
