Iceclover streatched her muscles in the sunight, and padded into the middle of camp. Today would be the day she recieved her nine lives. Various cats would accompany her, while her deputy, SHadowstorm, would watch over the camp while she is away.

Tawnypelt watched her leader walk through the camp. She didn't announce yet who would accompany her to Hightstone...but she hoped it was her!!

Iceclover yowled, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the highrock for a clan meeting" even though kits came too. "On my journey to the moonstone (or whatever) I will take Cheesefur and my senior warrior, Tawneypelt. And anyone else who would like to come."

A whole horde of cats started pressing near Iceclover until she disappeared under the mass of mewling cats.

Tawnypelt watched, stricken, and turned to meet Cheesefur's equally horrified gaze.
"Ah, this isn't going so well," Tawnypelt muttered. "STOP! STOP! by starclan! are your ears stuffed with moss?"

Some queens turned away, sulky that their kits wouldn't be able to come. "They're barely three moons old," Tawnypelt muttered. Queens always think so highly of their own kin. She would NEVER become a queen.

Cheesefur tasted sweetness on her tongue. This was the best news ever! Cheesefur dipped her head to Shadowstorm, who would have to take care of the squealing kits that had pounced on Iceclover ( Wink )

Cheesefur bounded after Iceclover, eating her traveling herbs as well as her own.
Oh well she thought as raced to catch up with the others, although it was hard to with a comfortably full belly. Very Happy

As they passed a clump of wet moss, Cheesefur nudged Tawntpelt and they both slipped and fell into it. Whoops Cheesefur thought again. Super Happy
