Fanfic Reviewing Team!

Hey everyone,

I've been thinking about a fanfic review team! They will be part of the staff, but can only moderate the fanfic section.

I'll have templates and mod cans for them

What do you guys think? Any additional inputs, etc?

This souds a lot like what I already do for members that ask me to review their fanfics. For anyone that decides to do this I ask that you please keep all reviews positive. The goal isn't to discourage anyone from writing. Each review should have all of the things they did right in the fanfic and after that you can exlain each of things they can improve on. (i.e. Details, relationships, etc.) I will support this though. I have been told by several people that they like my reviews because I give them things to improve on as well as tell them what they did well on. Feedback like ”it's good” is nice to hear but it doesn't help them in any future writings. I'd also like to point out though that there are not many people on this forum cut out to do this (particularly other fanfic writers) simply because they are so objuective in the styles of writing. I've seen in a few cases that peoples writings were criticized because the person that wrote it did not have the same writing style as the "critic" in a sense. I'd like to help choose out a few specific people on the site for these jobs. I have one or two in mind at the moment.

Snowlily, I'd think you'd be great for the job of a fanfic reviewer! You're awesome at giving kind words and (critics at times ) haha Snowlily and I had discussed that I wasn't really suitable for the job. I prefer writing more than reviewing!~

I think it's a great idea! It will give members eperince if they want to become full moderators later and give us less stress from moderating all of the other boards.
