Would you leave your Clan for the ones you loved?

Ok well I'm putting this out here to see what every cat says!

So here it is:

You are the most respected warrior soon to be appointed deputy of your clan. But there is one small problem. Actually a big problem. You love a warrior of another clan and he/she (depends on the cat reading) has just asked you to join their clan so you can raise a family together. So? What are you going to do? Stay in your clan, or, abandon them to follow your heart?

Well, I would stay with my Clan. I wouldn't miss an opportunity to become leader, and I wouldn't want to break the warrior code, either. Even if it breaks my heart and I never find another to love, it's worth it. Because if I joined their Clan, I would never be accepted in the new Clan and to my home Clan, I would be a traitor, an oath-breaker.

If I was a cat, I'd probably go to the other Clan. Because if I truly loved them I'd give up everything.

Hmm...Well if you stayed in your clan then you might not be truly happy. Leaving your clan just for a mate might seem unloyal, but you just gotta do whatever makes you happy, right?

I would leave my Clan. No doubt about it. My loyalty lies with my Clan generally, but family is way more important. But that's just me...>.>

If it's an option, I'd tell them to come to my Clan. Since I'm a she-cat, it would be easier for the tom to come to my Clan. My Clan wouldn't hate me so much cuz they respected me enough to make me deputy.

Either that, or I lose the deputy position cuz I have a mate in another Clan

It depends for me. If it would be hard for the she-cat to adapt, I would go to her clan, giving up the rank i've always wanted to possibly become leader in her clan in the future. If she could adapt, however, I would ask her to come to my clan. If she disagrees, I could always see my kits and mate at gatherings otherwise, but probably feel guilty. Or I could just give in.

Er, i'm complicating things XD I'd probably just go to her clan, giving up an instant deputy-ship for a possible deputy-ship and my family.

I would definitely stay with the Clan. The Clan always comes first, don't put yourself before your Clan.

Now, if we were on WCF we wouldn't have this problem. All we need to do is work hard and then buy our own Clan

I would leave for sure, no doubts about it. Having a mate is a once in a lifetime thing, and you will never ever be given that same chance again. There can always be another deputy, there can always be other Warriors. But there will never be another life partner. Follow your heart (:

Since I'm a she-cat, I would stay with my Clan. The Clan is important above all other things, even your own life. "Protect this Clan even at the cost of your life" is the vow you took when your leader makes you warrior. And a true, loyal warrior would undoubtedly uphold that promise.

I would leave for the one I loved (in the series, not here X3). Cloudsong is right, but you could never see your lovve again if you got caught, and maybe even get exiled!!! That would mean you'd never see your clan or love again. So I say I'd leave for my loved ones.

Even if you left for your love though, if they were in another clan, you would never be trusted. Clan stands above all else, because clan is family.

I would never do that! No cat, no matter how much I would like them, is not worth losing trust and being remebered as a disloyal cat who choose a cat over her loyalty.

I dont think its such a big deal since the topic was not locked rose. But anyway to answer this question, no. I dont think i would in the series or here. The who,e series in the book is based on loyalties and based on the characters you like, you really can figure out where your loyalties lie both in the series and on this site. As bloodpaw said, the whole code is based around your clan and your responsibilites towards it. There is nothing reguarded higher in any of the books than loyalty to your clan.

I would definitely leave the Clan. Love is more important than anything, to me.

Ehhh, I don't know what I would do. Love isn't a top priority for me but neither is the warrior code. I don't even agree with most of the code so why would I follow it? And honestly if I was about to get the deputy position I had always wanted there is no way you're going to get me to leave. You can come here to my clan, whatever, but if you don't that's fine. I don't want a family anyway.

At the beginning I didn't know what I would do, but now I know I would stay. But not out of loyalty to my clan, but for my own "selfish" desires. I try not to let my emotions effect my choices anyway. So yeah, love not so much. Selfishness, heck yeah.

And yes, I do realize I made typos. I am on my phone.

My answer is simple.
Stay with the clan.
I do not care about anything outside the clan. I would throw away everything outside the clan, and stay with my own. And to me, power is the most important. Tell me if I sound like Tigerstar.
Even I truly loved the cat in the series, I would still give him up. Worse, I will be angry, and fight him first during our next battle. I shall not let love get into the way.

I would stay with my clan. Leaving the clan will make all in it unhappy, and you would always miss something deep in your heart. Truly it is heartbreaking to stay and never see your love again. But is it that worth to never win back the loyalty you once had?

I would follow my heart... well, being deputy would be cool, but then everyone relies on you. I would rather be with my mate.... I would love her to much (I am talking about Phoenix)
So if Phoenix was in another clan.... I would abandon my clan to be with her. But it would be so hard to leave my clan. I mean my clan is amazing.... I really hope I don't have to leave it.
