Wait a second. Bramblesky, I think you are confused... Your character can't be Blazestar's mate if you are gay. It means that you like guys, not girls.

Straight- You like the opposite gender.
Gay- Boy term for liking the same gender
Lesbian- Girl term for liking the same gender
Bi- Liking both your gender and the opposite gender

So, you can either make your character straight and find a she-cat as a mate or stay gay and find a tom to be your character's mate. Alright? And Blazestar and Sugarlily are mates xD

Sugarlily padded into RainbowClan camp, a shrew clamped in her jaws. Placing the limp body in the fresh-kill pile, she padded over to her mate and leader, Blazestar. "Blazestar!" she mewed happily, licking her behind the ear. "I saw some strange animals by the lake earlier."

Goldenstream padded back into camp, breathing in the cool early Newleaf air. She padded up to Springfall, and smiled, "Hello!" she gave her a lick on the ear, and purred, "How are you this cool morning?"

Stingclaw nudged Goldenstream and laughed, "Gotcha!" Goldenstream rolled her eyes and smiled, nudging her friend back harder. "Ow! Easy..." he winced, and Goldenstream laughed.

"Good. How about you my love?" Springfall asked, licking the smaller she-cat.
Springfall was rarely affectionate, but when she was, it was directed at little kits,
or her mate. Springfall stretched, and began to swiftly groom her pelt.

Icepaw entered the camp, her red and blue eyes shinning triumphantly. In her jaws, she gripped two voles and a chaffinch. The tall, fluffy white she-cat dropped her catch on the prey, and began to look for Firepaw. Every cat in the clan knew of how the fierce little white she-cat and the sweet, nice, little orange she-cat held affections for eachother.
Funny how opposites attract.

Blazestar slowly padded out of the leader's den. She felt so drowsy and tired. She immeditately wanted to go back into her den and crash on the nest but she thougth better. Blazestar had a camp to protect and run. She bounded towards the center of the clearing and dragged out a mouse and started to gnaw on it's fleshy little body.
