Extraordinary Cats

These are rogues that look extraordinary, but possible. For example, one looks like a miniature version of a lion, like Lionheart, but much more realistic. These cats banded together for protection, in their forest territory not inhabited by cats, but more badgers, foxes, and wild dogs. But these cats discover that they have a power within, turning to the animal they look like. Yes, these cats are truly extraordinary.

Kira wandered around the forest, sniffing the air for mice. Suddenly, she saw russet and grey fur. "Silver!" Exclaimed Kira. "I thought you were a coyote!" Silver snorted. "Well, you should. And I thought you were a white tiger!" They both laughed, but were silenced by a distant growl. The black-and-white appeared from the undergrowth, its mouth watering. "Badger." Silver growled. "My worst enemy."

Leo padded around the thick forest. He pricked his ears and opened his jaws. Squirrel! He dropped into a hunter's crouch and started creeping towards the squirrel. He caught it in his jaws and gave it the killing blow. He heard a voice, "Nice catch," and looked up. "Fang!" He exclaimed. "You scared me!"

Silver lunged at the badger. Kira's claws itched to join the battle, but in her mind, she thought: This is his battle. Badgers are his worst enemy. But now, the most extraordinary thing happened. Silver grew bigger, he looked stronger, and his size almost matched the badger. He looked like a bigger version of himself, and he looked like a miniature version of a coyote...Now, Kira realized it. He turned into a coyote! How did this happen? Silver killed the badger immediately, and gasped. Now, he turned back to his own size. "Kira, did you see that?" He panted. "Perhaps everyone in our gang can turn into what we look like, when we battle our worst enemy!" Kira shook her head in disbelief. "Then that means...I can turn into a white tiger?" Silver sighed. "Perhaps."

Fang dropped down from the branch with ease. "Sorry," He laughed. A low growl came from the bushes. Leo and Fang tensed up. "What was that?" Leo whispered. Two dogs leaped out of the bushes. "My worst enemies," Fang growled low and loud. One dog pounced and Fang grew until he looked like a Bengal Tiger. He killed the dog with one blow and changed back into his cat form. The second dog pounced and Leo grew into a huge cat with savage fangs and a huge golden mane. A lion! He also killed the dog and shrunk back down. Leo shook his head in amazement. "Wow!" He murmured. "I can change into an animal!"

"Did I here someone say badgers?" Amber padded over, her black eyes wide. Those four-legged black and white striped beasts were her greatest fear. Her cat form was vulnerable to many predators but her being able to shape-shift into a fox, badgers were the only creatures she could not defeat. "Where?"

"Badgers?" Nike scowled at the very name of the nasty creatures. "Where?" she echoed Amber, glancing around. "I hate badgers." They'd killed her only littermate, Blade, leaving her alone with a caustic father. Since his death, Nike had set out to live elsewhere, away from any memory of what her family had once been. Her father's humor and gentleness had died along with her mother, and any remnant of his easy-going personality had vanished with Blade. Nike dug her claws into the earth.

Shawn crawled through the undergrowth and popped out of a brambles next to Nike. "Badgers?" He cowered. He knew he was abler to change his form becoming a Fox, but he knew a Badger could easily kill him with a blow to the neck. "Is it alive?" He asked.

Trix panted as she came to a running stop beside Amber. "I... was..... just chased... by a Wild Dog.." she mewed between pants. "I didn't have time to turn and fight!" She cried. "Sooner or later I-" she was interuppted when she heard a saddening fammiliar bark of a dog. "Its back!" She turned and switched to her form as a Snow Leopard and began to attack the large dog.

Kira sighed. "No it is not." She mewed. "Silver killed it, but there are more on the loose. Hunt them down if you like, we're going back to camp." Silver was stilled licking his bloodstained claw, his eyes full of shock. "I turned into a coyote!" He announced.

Leo and Fang just padded along. Not minding anything. Leo yowled and tripped over a rock and stumbled into something soft. Shawn! "Sorry!" Leo apologized. "I tripped over a stupid rock!"

mystic stared up into the stars she looked back at here disfigerd bones and sighed i wonder whats wrong with me?

When Tex calmed down she lacked her paw as she turned hack into a small snowy cat and stared at everyone with a grunt. She glared, her eyes shaped like half moons turned on their sides and waited for someone to break the silence.

"Appearently Silver just learnedly his power." Shawn licked his lips and sat down.

Slick and Liger padded through the forest, looking for food. The brothers had just spotted a rabbit, when two foxes burst out of the undergrowth and landed on them.Suddenly, Slick transformed into a weasel and wriggled out of the foxes grasp. he jumped on its back, bit down, and looked over at Liger, to see an actual Liger standing over the dead fox. Liger jumped over to slick, and helped kill the fox.They both transformed back and looked at each other."What just happened?" They asked in unison.
