Minks and Weasels

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I thought it'd be fun and a bit interesting. As the title says, we will be RPing minks and weasels!!! Yay :DD

Times are dark for the Mustelid Colonies. Humans have been taking and killing off mustelids left and right, destroying the Otter, Skunk, Wolverine, (Honey) Badger, Ferret, and Marten Colonies. Only the Mink and Weasel's remain, thought they are almost completely wiped out. Females are volunteering to mate with any of their kind to bring their Colony back to their original state. Will the Minks and Weasels survive?

Mickey looked around him nervously. Everything he once knew was being destroyed. He wouldn't let the minks die. No. "I know everyone is hungry. We will go to the tiny moor territory and get a cottontail. We MUST stay alive. Go in groups!" he yelled, making sure everyone heard.

Hallie started to cry. She cried and cried for Fabio, her old mate, to come home. But he was dead, and she was expecting kits any time now. She curled around her belly and closed her eyes, remembering Fabio's face. His black face and feet. His orange fur. She cried herself to sleep, soon enough, making the nursery quiet.

Melaya got in her group and groaned as her belly rumbled. Her white fur was filled with dirt and grass so she began to clean her pelt.

~Can Lumber be Melaya's mate?~

Lumber could tell that Melaya was hungry. I'll make sure we don't starve! he promised to himself. "I'll go catch you something," he said to Melaya. He slowly ventured away from the other minks, and he shivered as a cold breeze blowed towards him. In the breeze, he picked up the scent of a mouse. He followed it until he saw a rotting log, where a mouse was nibbling on a seed. He pounced on it and quickly killed it before it realized what was happening. Proud of his catch, he walked back to where the other minks were, and he dropped it in front of Melaya.

~Sure, Streamfur~

"Thank you, Lumber, but give it to the kits. They must be starving. I'll wait till later." Melaya's stomach growled again and she wondered when the starvation would end.

"Ok," Lumber said, before picking up the mouse and taking it over to where the kits were. They all ate some of the mouse hungrily, and soon, they had finished it. Lumber's stomach growled. If we can't find a place with more food soon, we'll all starve! A kit started playing with his tail. "Quit it!" he snapped, causing the kits to rush to their mother, from whom he recieved a stern glance from. "Sorry..." he mumbled to the kits.

Punce slowly walked out of the den. The sun was bight and sunny and he squinted up at thr bright blue sky. He gazed around. THe other minks were justt beginning to wake up. He twtched his fluffy long black tail and went to the center of the clearing.

Melaya scampered over to Pounce. "When do you think this starvation will end? The kits need food or else they'll die," Melaya said, looking over her shoulder to the playing kits.

Pounce shook his sadly at Melaya. "I don't know," He murmured. "I hope it will end soon..." He trailed off. What Melaya was saying was true. If the starvation lasted any longer, the kits would die.
