Thunderclan or Shadowclan

Hey! Just a topic about which clan is better, Shadowclan or Thunderclan! I just want to know which one you like better!

Honestly, it's hard to choose. ShadowClan is much more stealthy and stalker, whereas ThunderClan is very plain but are skilled hunters. They both are loyal in some ways. I chose ShadowClan, though, because even though they were evil, they still have amazing skills. But ThunderClan is awesome, too!

I'm more favorable to Shadowclan, It just seems more of my style when it comes to clans. However, Thunderclan has the more interesting camp in both the lake and old forest, and both clans have had their fair share involving evil and heroic cats.

Shadowclan but I preferred it even in the books. Reading about only Thunderclan all of the time got boring. And I'm biased.

I agree with all you guys. Thunderclan was the main clan in about every single book. It started to get annoying. The other clans didn't have a lot. I wanted to here more about Windclan, or Riverclan or Shadowclan. So yeah.

Well, im biased towards ShadowClan, cause I'm the leader, but even before I became leader I favored ShadowClan. They always had an air of... mystery around them, and they never were talked about much in the books. I also admired how, even when things got rough, they kept perservering. I liked how they had a stricter policy towards accepting rouges, loners, and cats switching clans.

ThunderClan always seemed too soft. I know everyone says ThunderClan is a goody-two-shoes clan, but guess who came from ThunderClan? Tigerclaw/Tigerstar. I would not say he was goody-two-shoes at all. How about Squirrelflight? Bluestar? Leafpool? They broke the warrior code quite a few times, if I remember correctly.

I think I prefer ShadowClan. I don't have anything personal against ThunderClan of course

It's just that ThunderClan took the spotlight for fame and strength and good luck the whole series until the Erins started writing special editions books for other Clans. It just got kind of tiring and boring with ThunderClan. Y'know? I think most people view ThunderClan as soft all because of Firestar. He was the one who accepted Berrynose, Daisy, Millie, Hazeltail, Mousewhisker, Purdy.... There wasn't a single other Clan that did what Firestar did. Again, everything seems to be Firestar's fault.

I have to agree and disagree with you. I agree with the reasoning about thunderclap taking the fame, however, throughout the books history, Shadowclan was actually known to take in more rogues or strays than by other clan. That was actually stated in Secrets of the Clans, not that I'm saying I agree that it was good that Firestar took in so many kitty pets.

There is the link for the Shadowclan sheet, or what we have of it so far, though if you are looking for a clan to join, you should try making a topic in the clan recruitment topic. That way you can let everyone know what clans you've narrowed it down to so far and that way the appropriate people can contact you with the information.

ThunderClan I think was very Favorited by the Erins, but as far as I see, not by the fans.
ShadowClan, however, seems to be slightly liked by the Erins, but the fans seem to be a bit more enthusiastic about it

Putting the whole 'favorites' thing aside, I think ThunderClan is way too basic. They are strong, but this perk seems to have no special affect against any other clans, because they seem to be just as strong. They're also supposed to be good at hiding in the undergrowth, but they seem to have no 'special' abilities with this, as all the other clans had no trouble getting through their territory and stuff. Most of the descendants of ThunderClan were also too major-flawed or too minor-flawed. For the good perks, I think ThunderClan still had some really good characters, like Whitestorm and Mousefur. They also had a lot of cool traits personality-wised, and despite being a little simple, did have some unique fighting and hunting styles. I know the negative-positive in my post was really uneven, but I just don't prefer the quirks of the actual clan so it's hard for me to kind of think of really good things to say about Thunderclan.

Shadowclan, however, was really cool. They were outlined in kind of an evil aura, but they had amazing perks and qualities about themselves. I think this clan should've received a bit more attention, being the evil clan especially. Cool and mysterious, I loved Shadowclan for its shadowed motives and proud attitude. For flaws they tried too hard to win battles and such, and some of their moves are basic too, but not much. Some of the warriors turned really crazy and ambitious, but I guess that's just natural for Shadowclan, because they're, well, Shadowclan.

So in conclusion, I think ShadowClan is better than ThunderClan, not because of it was favored more, but because of my overall opinion on the clan itself.

I personally preferred ThunderClan in the books, because as a young reader, of course I preferred the heroes over the villains. They were a model Clan, though looking back it was a naïve and stereotypical choice. I'm neutral right now, as I haven't read far enough to draw a proper conclusion.

ThunderClan was waaaaayyyy too perfect. They are soft, too. Yeah, I pretty much agree with some people above me. SHADOWCLAN 4 EVA!!

Wow ^^ These are all great choices! I'd pick Shadowclan myself, because Thunderclan was getting old in the books. It was only about Thunderclan.. not really the other clans.

In the books it got really boring, always reading about Thunderclan. I always wanted to know what was going on outside the clans. So, I choose Shadowclan, Thunderclan is just too boring.

I got really tired of always reading about ThunderClan. Learning the ways of the other Clans is so much more interesting

I must say Shadowclan. Even through it is a hard decision. Thounderclan is a good clan, they know allot and is loyal! They do what is right even if they shall go around the warrior code. But I also think that is a bad thing with thounderclan, they do it all the time.
Shadowclan is more evil, but loyal as well. I like that they won't be seen as weak and is very skilled in hunting as well.
