Foxtail followed the deputy through the grass. I haven't gotten to eat or hunt yet today, she thought. Hopefully there will be a lot of prey in this clearing.

Russetstar eyed after Falconstrike and Foxtail, a little irritated that Falconstrike hadn't bothered to notify her first. Shrugging inwardly, the dark ginger she-cat stood swiftly and trotted after the two warriors. Annoying as the circumstances were, prey would be undoubtedly welcome.

Bunnytail hopped hopped out of the warriors den and over to Darkstar's den. "Yes? What is it that you need?" she asked the mighty leader. She curled her tail around herself as she sat. She stared at her leader, waiting for a response.

Webpelt sat beside the fresh kill pile. She still couldn't believe her smaller, no tailed sister was deputy of HareClan while she was stuck being a warrior of VixenClan. She let out a small hiss of annoyance then remembered that she was in her mother's clan. She smiled, then bit into a squirrel.

~Can Bluedrop and Bunnytail be mates? O:~

Darkstar looked at the cat sitting in front of him "Well, have you set patrols yet? Every warrior of HareClan, is still here." He mewed, very annoyed.

Frostkit and Toadkit were disappointed that their father left without teaching them anything. They waited until Rabbitpetal fell asleep, then they snuck out of the nursery and into the camp. They were still very young and hadn't left the nursery before, so they didn't know which den Darkstar would be in. They saw Bunnytail leave one den and go into another so they followed her. They peered into the den and saw the two cats talking.

Darkstar didn't wait for the she-cat to answer him, he just left his den, almost tripping over his two kits "Frostkit! Toadkit what are you doing out of the nursery?" he asked but he ws lucky they hadn't left the HareClan camp. he straed at the two kits waiting for an answer.

"You said you were gonna teach us a move." Frostkit mewed. "You left without teaching us, so we came to look for you." Toadkit mewed. They were worried that they'd get in trouble for leaving the nursery.

Foxtail heard pawsteps behind her, and turned around. "Hi Russetstar," she greeted her sister. Foxtail scanned the landscape and spotted a little clearing in the forest with a pool in it. "Is that the place?" she pointed with her tail.

Darkatar looked at his kits and smiled faintly, something he did scarcely. He reached his paw out and hatted at the air, a move that comes in instinct. He hoped the kits were pleased, he looked at them and cuffed them over the ear "That's for leaving the nursery without asking." He mewed seriously his grin fading.

~Yes, they can. (P.S. I'm at school from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm. Wednesday I won't be on the laptop until 9:00 pm. So, I'll be behind on RPs. Grr, why does school have to start so early?!?)~

Bunnytail lowered her tail in disappointment as she walked into the clearing. "Bluedrop, Frostpaw, come on, we're going on a border patrol," she ordered then walked out of camp and towards the VixenClan border.

The two kits were watching carefully as their father did the move, and they were excited to practice it. "Thanks daddy!" Frostkit squeaked, after he finished showing them the move. Then after he cuffed them over the ears, and his grin faded, Toadkit quickly said, "We're sorry we left the nursery, we'll stay there now." The turned and rushed back towards the nursery and ran staight into Rabbitpetal, who was now awake. "Don't ever leave the nursery without permission again." she meowed sternly to her kits as she led them back into the nursery. "As a punishment, you two won't get the suprise I had for you." The kits were disappointed, but were glad they learned the new move. Later in the nursery, they began playfighting, copying the move Darkstar showed them. They were both batting their paws at eachother with their claws sheathed.

Bluedrop meowed, "Alright." He padded beside Bunnytail.

Ghostsong felt a jolt of pain in her belly. "I-I'm kitting... I'm kitting!!!" Ghostsong yowled.

"Yeah. That's it. I have already hunted, but you go ahead. I will go back to camp now. I don't want to leave Ghostsong for too long." He mewed and jogged back to camp.

Berrypelt rushed into the nursery with Ghostsong. "Falconstrike!" Ghostsong yowled.
~How many kits should she have? I'll make one.

Falconstrike burst into the den. "Are the kits here already?!" His voice was surprised and worried.

~Brownkit (Brownfur)- brown tabby tom blue eyes, runt. Looks just like her past mate, Jerry.~
Ghostsong meowed, "Yes..." the pain got worse. "Falconstrike, get wet moss, fresh kill, and a stick." Berrypelt ordered, "When the pain gets worse, push, Ghostsong." She pushed a couple of times and a kit that looks like her came out. She smiled.

Falconstrike nodded and dashed away, soon coming back with everything. However, he was drenched from falling into the water he had been soaking the moss in. Setting the stick by his mate's head as well as the moss and freshkill.The massive tom then licked the kit to warm it and get the sac off. The deputy afterward set him to drink from his mother. Falconstrike had been a helper in kitting many a times and was used to the process by now. Many thought he would be named medicine cat's apprentice, but he chose to be a warrior and deputy instead.

While Falconstrike was gone, a black she-kit was born. She pushed one more time, and a brown tabby tom was born. She sipped the water in the moss and breathed, "I'm so tired..." she closed her eyes.

Falconstrike purred and curled up to his mate and their kits. He loved them already like his own. The kits would be happy wih him as a father...hopefully. The tom would give it his darndest.

"I love you, Falconstrike. I'll tell them they're yours Falconstrike." Ghostsong murmured. "What should we name them? I like Moonkit for the gray one and Brownkit for the youngest one."

Falconstrike purred louder. "And I love you, Ghostsong. For the black one...Lightningkit." he mewed, thinking of his sister what with the she-cat's dark pelt and long legs. Exactly like Lightningsky.

Darkstar looked at his kits and smiled, purring, he started smiling and purring more often, ever sind=ce his kits were born. he walked to the nursery and sat down next to his mate, he layed his head on her side wishing Clan life was always this peaceful. he whispered into her ear "Would you like to go for a walk Rabbitpetal?" he asked he looked around the nursery and saw his kits "We can take Frostkit and Toadkit if you like." he mewed being Clan leader he gave permission "Please, they would love it, so would i\I." he wanted to be in the forest maybe even catch fresh-kill so the kits could see. he knew she would probably refuse.

Foxtail bounded forward, unable to contain herself any more, but careful to be noiseless all the same. The warm, juicy scents of squirrels, birds, and rodents flooded her nose and she could almost taste them. Foxtail targeted a vole near a bush. Sinking into the hunting crouch she was so familiar with, she carefully advanced paw by paw until she was a tail length away. She pounced, and landed squarely on the vole, killing it with a swift bite. Burying the vole, Foxtail moved on in search of other prey. It wasn't hard; the clearing was infested with small animals.

Ghostsong fell asleep, murmuring in her sleep. She woke up when on of the kits mewled, and smiled. She laid back down and closed her eyes, gently falling asleep...
