Rangers and Assassins RP

A broad-shouldered, battle-scarred cat stepped into the last ray of sunlight, dark eyes glowing like coals as he gazed down at the cats clustered below him, gazing up.

"The Assassins have struck the Villages. They have ignored the Agreement."

A low growl rippled through the gathered cats.

"And now we will strike back."

INFORMATION:

They live in the mountains and the forests below. All four groups of them, as they always have. The Villagers are scattered in the forest, making the crop that feeds the Rangers (whose role is to protect the Villagers and keep the peace in the land.), the Assassins (a traveling group who likes to cause dissent and has settled down in the mountain a decade before), and the Phantoms (a passive group that is virtually unknown and does not like to get involved in anything). Years before, a Pact was made, an agreement for peace. The Assassins will stop killing without reason. But now, Krashath, the Assassin leader, has broken it. A Village was pillaged, leaving dozens of helpless cats dead. Enraged, the Rangers wage war on the Assassins, their most bitter rival. The Phantoms are passive, and have even taken means to hide themselves even deeper into the most arcane, dark reaches of the mountains. But if one of the groups find them, it would mean sure victory for that group, as the Phantoms are known for their skills. Who will win?

CHARACTERS:

Villagers- not actually part of the RP characters. Anyone can just make one and "god-mod" it. They grow the crops for the rest of the cats, and they know the forest better than anyone else. They have no powers, although they have super-natural strength

Assassins- known for their ambush skills, they are often nicknamed Nightwalkers or Shadowhunters, and are feared among the Villagers. They are merciless and stealthy, cunning and crafty, intensely loyal to each other. Their leader is Krashath, and it was he who chose to break the Pact. They have powers.

Rangers- known for their close-range fighting skills, they are often nicknamed the Swiftstrikers, as they are swift-pawed and quick-thinkers. They are friendly with the Villagers, and some of the Rangers came from the Villages. They are fair and intelligent, resourceful and fierce, intensely loyal to each other and their leader, who is Niten, the half-brother of Krashath. They have powers.

Phantoms- known for their fighting skills, they are often nicknamed the Haunters, as they are silently powerful; they are even considered Legends. They are reserved and quiet, unnerving and stubborn-natured, and their loyalties are unknown... Their leader is Shruikan, whose relations are unknown. They have powers.
