Rippleheart stretched happily, rubbing her paws over the soft grass. "Hi, Yellowfang!" she called cheerfully. "Hello," she grunted. "Are you still fretting over the Dark Forest? The Clans will hold out," Rippleheart assured her. "Although I admit I'm frightened for Brightstar and RiverClan."
"We'll all die!" Yellowfang snapped. "We need to recruit apprentices too, you know. Like the Dark Forest. Meet us at the pool at moonhigh for a meeting." With a swish of her bushy gray tail, the old StarClan medicine cats vanished into the long grass.
Confused, Rippleheart could only yowl, "Okay!"

Wingfern saw Rippleheart."Hi Rippleheart!"He meowed."Talk to Yellowfang?What'd she say about the dark forest?"He asked.

"Congrats." Fallensnow whispered to where only Flameflicker could hear. Fallensnow missed her kit, Firepaw.She remembered the feeling of having kits, and she wanted to go down there, with Firepaw...

"Hello, Shimmerfur!" Rippleheart called. "A fine day! Yellowfang wants us at the pool at moonhigh! Will you be there?"

Shimmerfur purred back," Sure!" and bounded after her.

"Well, I'll be there if I get Firepaw to train." Fallensnow spat.

"She wants us to train apprentices like the Dark Forest!" Rippleheart meowed, waiting patiently for Shimmerfur. "What do you think?"

Shimmerfur blinked, then shrugged. "Let's go and see her first."

Falconsight rushed towards the group. "If you ask me." he mewed between breaths. "It's about time we did something like this, instead of just burying our heads in the sand like some mousebrains wanted to."

Shimmerfur was about to snap at Falconsight when she faltered. It did make sense. "Alright then," he grumbled, flattening her ears. "Let's go then, Fallensnow and Rippleheart."

He glanced at Falconsight once more. "You can come if you want to!"
