Mossfur padded out of her den and yawned. I wonder if Duststar is awake yet?

Duststar stretched and shook out his fur. He padded out of his den seeing Mossfur. "Hey. Your up early." Duststar mewed smiling. The stars werent as bright and were starting to get faint but it was still kind of dark. This is usually when he woke up and no warrior was up. He padded over to Mossfur.

"Oh Hi Duststar! I couldn't sleep to I walked out of my den to get some fresh air." Mossfur mewed.

Duststar smiled. "Alright, Im gonna get something to eat." He mewed. He padded over to the fresh kill pile and picked up a bird. He padded back to Mossfur and sat down and started to eat his bird.

Hazelstorm streched, her belly was getting pretty large, she was sleeply from her meeting with Duskstar last night, he had been thrilled to find out but she was worried her fake mate Stormstar didn't know that these kits weren't his......

"I'm not that hungry so I can wait. It's still early for me." Mossfur said as she began to lick her paw.

Hazelstorm hauled herself to her paws and padded out of camp, hoping to catch Duststar out on patrol.

Duststar got to his paws and shook out his pelt. "I'm gonna go on a walk. I'll be back in a couple minutes." He mewed to Mossfur. Duststar padded out of camp breathing in the scent of the thick maple trees. Duststar pricked his ears and smelt in deeper. "Hazelstorm?" He whispered to himself. Duststar raced toward the StormClan border looking out for Hazelstorm. "Hazelstorm?" He said louder.

Hazelstorm stopped and called "Duststar???!!!" then she hurried to the border and called quietly " Duststar??!!!!" she knew to better keep her voice low becuase this is a sensitve battle zone!

He saw a the body of a cat calling out his name. "Hazelstorm! It me Duststar!" He whispered loudly.

Hazelstorm's ears flicked and she scanned the darkness. "Duststar! Over here! By the twisted oak!" she hissed.

Duststar raced over and saw a twisted oak and Hazelstorm. He smiled and nuzzled her cheek. "Its great to see you again." He whispered breathing in her sweet scent.

Hazelstorm relaxed and purred "I couldn't stay away! But listen!" she gently pulled away from Duststar's face and bristled " Stormstar and Stormclan and going to pull a dirty battle trick! They are re-enforcing with rouges and kittypets, their training them to fight with no mercey! I heard Stormstar telling them that Show no mercey, gor for the throat and belly! Their aiming to kill!" she gasped

Duststar growled. "How dare they!" He growled. "Thank you Hazelstorm." He purred and licked her head. "How are the kits?" He asked wanting to change the subject.

Mossfur sat and licked her long pelt. *Sigh* I wonder where Duststar wandered off to.

Hazelstorm purred and mewed " Great! Their going to be here in the next couple of days! But when I have them, what do we do next?" she mewed sadly.

Stormstar padded out in front of his battle hungery soldiers and yowled "In the time of battle remember No pain! No mercey! And no survivers!"

Mossfur walked over to the fresh kill pile and picked up a squrriel and ate it. She was feeling more hungry now. Since Duststar had not returned she wondered if she should go out hunting.

Hazelstorm leaned over and murmured in his ear "I'm sorry"

Duststar looked at Hazelstorm. "Run back to camp. Ive got this." He whispered. Duststar gently pushed her into some ferns just in time.

Hazelstorm quietly turned away as Stormclan's dawn patrol saw Duststar on their side of the boder. They snarled " This is OUR Territory! You better get out of here while you still have fur!"
