Divergent RP

This is an RP about the book trilogy Divergent. The movie is coming out on friday (for me at least), in case you didn't know.
If you haven't read the books, I'll explain the plot. The population is divided in 5 factions. Amity, Abnegation, Candor, Dauntless, and Erudite. Amity are the optimistic ones, Abnegation are the selfless ones, Candor are the truthful ones, Dauntless are the brave ones, and Erudite are the smart ones. Each of the factions have certain colors and emblems.

The Amity colors are red and yellow. The Abnegation color is gray. The Candor colors are black and white. The Dauntless color is black. The Erudite color is blue. In this RP, let's have this in the past before Jeanine and Tris and all that stuff.

Sylvia woke up and quietly leaped out of her bed. No one else was awake. Sylvia had the habit of waking up early in the morning before anyone else. She slipped into her black slippers and shuffled out. Sylvia bounced to the cafeteria excitedly. That was the good thing about waking early. She could have all the dauntless cake she wanted.

Jack was up earlier than he intended. He hated it when he did that. He groaned and stood up carelessly. He immediately fell over, hitting his face on the hard ground. "Ouch."

~I just realized, are there going to be any initiates?~

Blythe looked up as Sylvia appeared in the cafeteria. "Morning," she said, and turned back to the blueberry muffin her hand. She was perched on the corner of a table, cross-legged. At first glance, it was obvious she was eating breakfast, but anyone who got closer would see the object in her other hand. Blythe was toying with what looked like a simulation serum shot.

~I have no idea what I'm doing. .-.~

~Yeah, I hadn't really thought of that. You can be one if you want, but none of my characters are~

Sylvia jumped in surprise and turned around at the sound of Blythe's voice. So Sylvia wasn't the first one up. "Oh! Hello. I didn't notice you," she said. Sylvia picked up a plate and began stacking it with dauntless cake. She also grabbed an apple, just for fruit. Her mother used to scold her if she never took a fruit for her breakfast. Sylvia used to be amity, but changed to dauntless after she got that result in her aptitude test.

Yuuki yawned, coming downstairs, revealing her slightly elongated canines. "Morning guys." She rubbed her eyes, trying to rid herself of her sleepiness. Grabbing a donut, she popped it into her mouth, and plopped onto one of the seats, toying with her sai absentmindedly. She took out her iPod, and put on her Beats, before scrolling through the playlist. She chose a song, then put her head down on the table, her mind going 100 miles per hour.



~That's what I'm like c: ... Well ... besides the iPod and beats and stuff. c: And the donut ...~

~Having initiates will be more fun. Otherwise it's gonna be boring. o: I'll make an initiate later when I get on the computer. Jasper can be an initiate too.~

Blythe nodded absently at Yuuki as she came and tucked the serum into her pocket. "We'll be training initiates later. Pass along the word when the others get here," she told them. "10 o'clock sharp, don't be late." She flipped her ponytail over her shoulder and left for the Pit.

~Yeah you're right, it would be boring. I guess Sylvia should be an initiate~

~Alanna can be an initiate. Can we make random initiates without forms to cut them later? Though you'd still have to keep track of them. Is there a specific plot in this RP?~

Alanna was jolted out of a dreamless sleep by no particular stimulus. Yawning, she stretched and pulled ona pair of shorts and a black t-shirt, then got ready in the bathroom, gathering her chocolate hair into a ponytail. Today's training was knife-throwing, she remembered. That was something she was interested in. As Alanna walked toward the cafeteria, she wondered idly what the rankings were so far. Grabbing a chocolate muffin, she nodded at Blythe's leaving silhouette and sat down next to Silvia, a fellow transfer. [forgot to say she transferred from candor so that was in her test too] "Hey, Silvia!"

~do you have a limit for the number of divergent spots in this RP? Remember there weren't as many divergent before Tris's time~

~Adding extra universal-use (anyone can roleplay them) initiates would probably help because there aren't enough~

~ Hey Flamepaw, maybe you should also state in the character list who's a Divergent Also, make Jaron a Divergent too. Can Jaron be the second leader of Dauntless?

Nyx: Can Jaron and Blythe be really close friends? ~

Jaron easily navigated his way through a boisterous crowd of Initiates and caught up with Blythe. "Hey!" He called out, flicking a small thumbdrive at her.

Daria strode over towards the Initiate table and slid into the seat next to Alanna. "Anyone excited for training?" She asked, tucking into her peanut butter sandwich. "Well, I am." She grinned lazily at them.

~Sure Frost c: And I had to search up what 'thumbdrive' meant, we call those things flash drives or USBs here xD~

Blythe turned around just in time to snatch the thumbdrive out of the air. "Oh hey, it's you again," she said in mock disdain, and punched Jaron's arm playfully. "What's the thumbdrive for?"

~ Helping you expand your vocabulary ~

"Nice catch," He smirked but a serious expression flickered across his face as he leaned forward, bending down slightly as he spoke into her ear, "It contains top secret information from Erudite's headquarters on the Divergent."

~wow Mr. Kauffman calls it a pen drive... and don't they have better tech than USBs? o.o~

"Hey Daria!" Alanna grinned back. "Time to see who'll be my first knife-throwing victim because I'm pretty sure I can't hit the actual target." Traces of Candor upbringing still lingered in her humor. Finishing her breakfast, she stood up and tossed the muffin wrapper behind her back, not turning around to see if it actually went in the trash can, which it did, fortunately for her.

~ I'm not the tech kind of person but I can figure out how to use a computer/phone easily What's a USB hahaha I've heard of it plenty but never bothered to find out ~

"Impressive," Daria remarked, as she swallowed down the whole sandwich. "You nearly took my head off though." She added jokingly as they headed towards the training room. "Hopefully Jaron and Blythe would go easy on us."

~A USB is the same thing as a thumbdrive. Help you expand your vocabulary too c:~

Blythe frowned and quickly tucked the flash drive into the pocket of her hoodie. "Interesting... How'd you come by it?" She glanced towards her watch, then quickly added, "Nevermind. Tell me later, won't you? It's almost time for the initiate training. C'mon."

"Well, as you know, I'm friends with Sasuke." He replied, which was partially true. He stared at her, trying to see Blythe's reaction. He wasn't sure how well they got along but Blythe never exactly seemed delighted whenever Jaron mentioned the Erudite leader.
