Cloudpelt had just done some proper hunting to keep his skills up in case there were any deputy hunting competitions. He was standing in some water and drinking. He spotted a shiny thing move past. It was a fish. He crouched down, tensed his muscles and sprang onto the fish. He picked it up out of the water and took it back to TigerClan. There, he showed it to Redstar. Then he took it to the dens to eat it. Cloudpelt was unusual; he liked to be either in or around watery places. That was why he drank whilst standing in the river. The fish was the best thing Cloudpelt had ever tasted. Wow, I have to do this more often! he thought. He chuckled.

Cloudpelt's recently appointed apprentice Blazepaw had been learning Cloudpelt's unique fishing techniques. The two were down by the river training. "No, not like that, Blazepaw! You use your quick reflexes to lash out and grab the fish, not stay tense all the time because 1: it's bad for you, 2: the fish would be able to tell from your position that you are hunting it.

Blackclaw padded out of the bushes on one side and looked at them, a meerkat in his mouth." You look hilarious fishing." He mumbled around his catch.

Cloudpelt turned his head to face Blackclaw and scowled at him. "Leave me alone. I'm training Blazepaw so he can teach more cats, then those cats will teach more cats, and so on," he growled. "Blazepaw! What did I say? Don't lean so far- BLAZEPAW! GET OUT! NOW!" Blazepaw had leaned too far over and fell into the river. Cloudpelt helped him out, and said, "You. Go back to camp. Take the catch with you. On the way, get some other fresh-kill and take it back so you can eat. Then ask *leader's name* what you should do, and do as *he/she* says this time!"

Blackclaw set down his catch and looked at Blazepaw." Take this with you, too." He ordered.
