Automatic locking

I know it makes people angry and they made a rule to not bump old topics but some new users still do it so maybe all posts that haven't been posted in for 2 weeks should automatically be locked.

Hey, lunarlight. Just to let you know, the staff have had a discussion about this and there was NEVER a rule that topics older than 2 weeks could not be posted in. There was even a public announcement made for the members letting then know this rule was never in affect. It only happened because dragonclaw spent long periods of time away and a few of the moderators cracked down far too hard on what they thought the rules should be. I would like to put my own opinion in n this though. It would be nice if the clan leaders could moderate their clan section in the member RPGs. I noticed I couldn't locked the completed topics and it would be nice to not have to wait for those things to happen. I think it might be a cool update, too, if there was a way for the topic starter to lock their own topics in the future.

I'm pretty sure I could manage the topics in the RiverClan forum when I was leader. Maybe you just haven't been given the privilege yet.

And you can't blame the moderators for cracking down on the rules too hard by themselves. Sure, they did put the rules in place, but it was because of some members actually clogging up the forum by bringing back dead RPGs and old, old topics.

Regardless bright. Moderators do not hold the power to change the rules. That still lies with the admins and tech team. Your brother has rather clearly stated that twice since he's been back now.

I never said they had the power to create rules. That was a suggestion really, to stop the people from bringing back dead topics from last year of four months ago. No one complained when we proposed that.

It was a good temporary solution. I know it's easy to just blame someone else, but it'd be nice of the level of general rudeness went down as well.
The source of the problem originally was tht things were getting out of control and there was no admin.

I mean, I'd love to say mean things all the time but that's actually a rule.
