HarperCollins; The Corrupt Dirt Bags
So everyone knows about Harper Collins, the publishers of Warriors, right?
I am not sure if you guys have heard, but the Erins will be "writing" a new seris called Survivors starting in 2012. Kate Cary has recently revealed that the four Erin Hunters will not actullay be writing this seris; a diffrent group of editors and writers will be writing it, using the same "writing style" (I use quote marks on this because using the same writing style as any of the Erin's is impossible; writing styles are as unique as fingerprints) and under the pen name of Erin Hunter.
This is a total scam, and what's even more enraging is that this is not the first time Harper Collins has tried to rip people off.
The original plan for the Warrior's mangas that the whole trilogy would be in one book at ten dollars, then Harper Collins decided to spilt the trilogy into three books and keep the price for one book at ten dollars. That adds up to $30 for one trilogy, more than a super edition. Buying all three trilogies together plus the indivual Scourge manga comes to a total of $100, 130 if you count the next manga trilogy. If the trilogies were all kept in one book however, it would only cost $40, or 50 if you counted the next two SkyClan mangas.
Then there was a more recent scam that I posted in another topic, but I'll bring it up here too.
In late August, a Warriors app was released, with exclusive trivia and a new trivia game. This app was completley free. Then in September, Harper collins re released the first 3 warrior books for ebook for the seris tenth anniversary (Which is a lie; the Warriors anniversary is actullay January 3) with exclusive trivia and never before known information. Turns out the trivia was the exact same stuff found on the app; the only diffrence was that the ebook re release would cost you $13.
And to add the icing on the cake, the Erin's wnated to stop Warriors at the end of OOTS until they had a meeting with Harper Collins. Don;t get me wrong, the Erin;s seem happy to continue Warriors, but it seems suspicous to me.
HarperCollins is obviously blind to everything but the oppurtuinty to make a little bit more cash, and it makes me sick that such a wonderful, incredible seris is in the hands of such heartless fox dung eaters.
So what do you think about all of this?

If you are going to boycott them, be aware that HarperCollins has a lot of diffrent divisons. If you see abook you would like to pick up, look at the copyright page with all of the information. Look at the publisher and it should say if it's a divison of HarperCollins or not.Shuriken wrote:What a bunch of posers
