Helicopters

First topic message reminder :

So, the story is basically the Twolegs claiming more land. They want to build a copter landing pad in the middle of the forest where all the clans meet. And they're cutting down plenty of life. Also, their noisy planes and such are disturbing AwesomeClan.

CheeseStar awoke one morning to the sound of chopping. She didn't know what it was; the turbo meat butcher 5000 wasn't supposed to arrive until next moon. She lazily dragged herself out of the comfy main den and looked around. Right below her nose, there was a huge slit in the cloud hallway that led to the open kitchens and the Sky Gardens. Also, there was a growing cloud of fumes that was SLOWLY rising. Up ahead, there was a terrifying flying monster that continued to chop up the clouds and leave a cloud of chemicals.

Blossomheart slid up to Hazeldust. "Do you think we'll succeed?" she whispered. Her eyes glittered with starlight. "Cats could get captured." The young warrior turned her head to gaze after the attack party. "Anything could go wrong," she added.

"Alright cats, it's just about time. We have a lot of distance to cover," CheeseStar mewed in a whisper. (yeah, we're attacking the campsites where they are planning to cut down the trees.)
The cats slid down and down the rows of clouds (there were only thin strips of cloud left) and made it to the bottom.


~ fast forward sounds.... ~

The camp smelled like dirty sweat Twolegs. There was some fowl smelling white containers on the ground next to a large orange shelter. The cats split up, taking different parts of the site. Just then, a dart came flying out of no where. It missed the cats, but just barely. A Twoleg carrying a long tube came out, cursing and muttering. Then it went back into one of the orange things. The cats fled, hiding in the trees. "It saw us!" someone whispered.

Sagedapple was waiting in the trees, just in case a cat got injured. The WindClan medicine cat gazed at CheeseStar fearfully. "CheeseStar, maybe we should wait until tomorrow?"

Blossomheart stiffened when she heard panicked yowling through the trees, abruptly cut off, then sounds of muffled crashing, followed by..... silence. Worry clenched Blossomheart's belly. She couldn't--wouldn't-- wait anymore. The AwesomeClan warrior hared into the darkness, her tortoiseshell pelt quickly swallowed up by the shadows.

Brightstar crouched down panting beside CheeseStar. "What do you think, CheeseStar? Maybe we should wait until the Twolegs have settled down again. They won't think we'd attack again, would they?" She leaned down to lick a scratch on her shoulder. A bramble had snagged on her fur as they fled, and Brightstar had to tare herself free.

Willowpool crouched down by Brightstar.

Hazeldust didn't give a word to move, but she saw Blossomheart start with worry and hurtle into the shadows towards the Twoleg camp. Shaking her head, she signaled the others to stay where they were.

"I'm going to see what's happening. If I yowl, come. If not, stay put. I won't be long-I'll be in the trees and Twolegs often have poor aim and poor night vision." She turned to Nightbreeze, a smoky black tom with bright blue eyes. "You'll be senior warrior here. There will be reinforcements from the other clans nearby-alert them if help is needed."

Then she leapt up a tree and melted into the shadowy darkness, with a sinking feeling that she won't return.

~Well, of course I would return, but probably after a good fight. And destroying stuff in the process.~

Blossomheart slipped through the darkness, her keen eyes guiding her. She heard whispered meowing. Guessing that was the raiding party, the AwesomeClan warrior trotted toward it.

Darkstar lifted her muzzle. "Blossomheart?" she whispered as a tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat trot into their hiding place. "What are you doing here? I thought you weren't part of the raiding party. "I couldn't stay still," Blossomheart admitted.

Suddenly ripplestreak gave a screech and charged forward. He ran straight to the cement bags and started tearing them up. "Twolegs bad!" he screamed. Then he ran and hid somewhere, marking scents. Then he ran around and started tearing up the grass.

CheeseStar waited in the bushes. The Twolegs were stirring a little bit. Once, one of the Twolegs walked right into the bushes next to the cats to take a.... leak. The cats waited until he was back in the tent.

~Hazeldust's idea: Twoleg's point of view~

Bob was back from taking a quick bathroom break. He zipped up his fly, suddenly aware that there was activity around him. He saw a flash of eyes to his right, next to the bushes he just went in. "Yikes!" he screeched out loud, jumping back into the tent to curl up with his teddy.

~Heh. Poor Bob. Let's go scare him a bit, shall we?~

Hazeldust flitted through the thicker branches of the trees, the soft leaves brushing quietly against her long pelt. Everything was quiet, and she saw a male Twoleg disappear into a flimsy Twoleg-nest-like thing and the light inside died down. After a few minutes, a rusty snore issued from inside, and the cats took this as a signal.

The clearing flooded with glowing eyes and long tails. Cats gave deep, swift gashes in the bark of trees, scratching out the artificial-looking orange lines. Further into the trees, there were deeper markings that were highlighted by rods of Twoleg-material that was hard and shiny, and sometimes with long sticks of wood. Paws trampled out lines dug into the earth, claws ripped out the sticks and filled in the holes.

Hazeldust watched from the trees and decided that there wasn't any immediate danger of Twolegs and she should go back to her backup group. But-

~Hm, maybe now some random apprentice who wanted to tag along decided to destroy a monster and raked his claws across a car, and tore out all his claws and made a horrible screechy noise and woke up the Twolegs. So we can be destructive...and fight. ~

Sunfall made the mistake of scratching some short log (also seen in Shadowstorm's Peril). It was too dark to see the details but it looked Twoleggy enough that Sunfall gave it and the bag that contained more a huge scratch. Suddenly light erupted from the log! Sunfall gave a squeal and ran into the trees. He hid and watched the logs suddenly explode into stars. Suddenly there was fire! The monster was on fire!! There was thundering explosion and the ground shook. The monster had blown into a several pieces. By then Twolegs were running through the camp. Bits of fire from the monster began to set their other stuff on fire. Sunfall gave a war cry and charged forward. The stream of cats seemed like little demons in the blaze of the fire.

Ripplestreak ran through the fire. she went for the twoleg houses first. She tore up the flimsy material. Then she grew braver and attacked the twolegs herself. She ran up a twoleg and clawed his face. Then she ran off and attacked another Twoleg. "Oh this is fun!"

CheeseStar pounced on some round souffle like things under the Twoleg's backside (grats if you know what i mean. ) she tore out the first layer, some light material with patterns on it and got to a second layer, dotted with red clover leaves (hearts. clover leaves are shaped like hearts.) Suddenly a Twoleg came out with the needle gun and CheeseStar fled the scene.

Spottedleaf looked around at the fire and destruction. "It looks like a job well done xD"

Twolegs ran around screaming in confusion. Suddenly she heard long wails in the distance. She saw flashing red and blue lights coming from the Thunderpaths. "What do we do?" she aked CheeseStar.

Get in the clouds they can't find us there.

blizzard gave a final thundering bellow and raced toward the tree-line, trampling at least two green-pelt sleeping things as he went. xD Did I miss anything?

~We sure do enjoy destroying things that we use ourselves in real life, pretending to be feral cats. ~

Hazeldust grinned at the destruction the cats created. There was a certain devastating beauty to seeing the flames lick across the dry grass where the Twolegs set up a camp, and all the destroyed objects that were strewn across the clearing.

The cats were lithe shadows slipping between the Twoleg's...uh, two legs, giving quick nips that made them yelp and jump in pain. When she saw CheeseStar slip away when a burly Twole appeared with a pointy, lethal-looking thing, Hazeldust saw it was aiming for Frostpetal (random cat) who was oblivious to her danger.

With a slight hiss, she propelled herself off the ground and dug her claws into his back. Her back legs scratched against the Twoleg-pelt-thing he wore until she felt her claws come in contact with his flesh, while the Twoleg dropped his weapon and writhed in pain. Hazeldust leaped nimbly off and raced back to where the backup group of cats still were. She'd had her fun now.

Cowboy rushed at the Twoleg who was bending down to pick up the fire-stick again. with a furious snarling growl, his jaws were around the Twoleg's neck. the Twoleg let out a strangled scream, shook itself free and raced for cover.

~Whoa. Good thing you didn't kill him. This RPG seems to be nearly done now...nothing we can do except RP as a human and freak out like "THERE ARE CATS GOING DOWN MY PANTS!" and run for cover in a port-a-potty. And then a few dogs and Blizzard come down to knock it over to the side. My 6th grade teacher said that when she was a kid, she once did that with her friends...Knocked down a port a potty, I mean. And her cousin was in there. O.O~

Blizzard knocked over a port-a-potty. "Happy?"

Hazeldust heard a muffled cry of shock and disgust from inside and heard wet, sloppy, slushy sounds from inside. "Yep," she told Blizzard.

Blossomheart sniffed at a piece of Twoleg food sitting next to a circular pit of stones(campfire). "It's rabbit!" she exclaimed, surprised. "Should we take it?" she wondered, glancing at Hazeldust.

Hazeldust shrugged. "I'm no medicine cat, I can't tell if it's dangerous or not. You could if you wanted-at your own risk. But I guess kittypets get fed by Twolegs and they don't drop dead, so I suppose it's not poisoned."
