The Life-Givers and Death-Bringers. The never-ending war between the two groups. The Life-Givers are the peace-makers. The Death-Bringers are the chaos-makers. They are mortal enemies, the dispute between them stretching to the beginning of time. Now, the time nearing Winter Solstice, the Death-Bringers will try to take advantage of the day they are most powerful, and bring their sworn enemy to heel.

A lean, tall figure appeared silently, his slate gray eyes like slabs of cold marble as they swept the alley before him. The moon made his hair a metallic silver-black shade, a mysterious mix of colors that made him look alien, dangerous. He narrowed his glittering eyes, mouth tightening into a line
The alley seemed empty, not a single sound disturbed the stale air. Yet Halt knew that his warriors were there, waiting, watching.
He made if soft tsk tsk sound with his tongue, stepping forward to stand on a sloping boulder as flames wreathed over his hands, flowing down to illuminate the rock in a ghostly apparition.
The humans appeared almost at once, seemingly to detach from the shadows themselves to gather beneath their well-respected leader.
"It is time," Halt said simply, his deep gravelly voice easily reaching everyone's ears even though he spoke quietly.
The gathered warriors raised their fists and from their throats came a single sound--swelling in unison--a sound that promised death.

Baylee. Death-Bringers Second-in-Command. Slender and has brilliantly pale skin. Her hair is naturally curly and falls in thick ringlets over her narrow shoulders. She looks hardly sixteen but in all actuallity around twenty. She has large blue eyes with flecks of pure white within them. Baylee's lips are full but not too much so. Her usual facial expression is somewhere between a grimace and a frown. Sometimes you may discover a small quirk in her lips that could be called a smirk and other times, you see her grinning and doubling over in laughter. This girl is quite complex. By no means is she girly. However, she does dress up from time to time. Her usual attire is a pair of basketball shorts, a wife-beaterish tanktop, and converse with her hair in a messy bun. She (like her sister) excells in many martial arts styles of fighting and may be stronger than her twin, Sala. Baylee is rather strange. She can be loud and hyper with a good sense of humor and then turn around and be quiet and timid. Afterward, her temper can flare and you better naot be in range of her claws...literally. Shape-shifting. Regular predatory animals. Is Halt's girlfriend. She stole him from another girl whom she completely mauled. That girl was her bestfriend. Now, no girl dares approach Halt without Baylee's approval. Is also Sala's twin sister. Lighty~

Jeremy. Death-Bringers Healer. Very tall dark haired boy with bright blue eyes. Memory; can remember anything. Leopardstrike~

Titus. Death-Bringers Training Master. Titus is quite handsome. His skin is neither pale nor tan and basically flawless except for a slight 5'oclock shadow scruff and a pale jaggen scar on his jawline. Most call him mysterious because he doesn't talk much and always wears a sad smirk. Titus's hair is so darkly brown that it looks black. Usually, he keeps it messy and slightly covering his alluring pale green eyes. He is rather well-muscled but is generally calm. Patience and intelligence can be found in his eyes. No one but a select few hear him speak. So, most think he is mute. Super-strength. Always keeps a pair of brass knuckles in his pocket. Lighty~

Hermione. Death Bringers Member.

Appearance:

Can control almost every plant except trees, flowers without thorns, and anything that can't hurt another person in any way. She can talk to every plant, even those that she can't control. Rockpaw~

Madison. Death Bringers Member. Short athletic girl with brown hair and dark dark dark brown eyes. She usually wears a baggy shirt and shorts. Invisibility.

Silas. Death-Bringers. A tall boy with short, neat, black hair. He has cold, serious brown eyes and eyebrows that are almost always lowered in a no-nonsense expression. Silas looks about 18, if not in his early 20s. Silas can melt into shadows, take control of a person using their shadow, and travel through shadows. He can only control weak-minded people, but can control almost all animals through their shadows. He can also melt down into his own and walk off as a shadow of himself, literally. Silas can also form any shadow he'd like where there is enough darkness, but a bright ray of light can easily wound him if pointed directly at him. If strong enough, it can even kill him or leave him mortally wounded. If you've ever heard the saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover.", with Silas, it's the opposite. He's exactly how he looks; serious, quiet, suspicious, but he still has an air of mystery about him. Silas is fiercely loyal, but his cowardice betrays that. When things get too rough, he melts into a shadow and races away. He's also a bit judgemental, but can be kind if you treat him well. Silas is especially good with long-range weapons and daggers.

Mary Jane. Death-Bringers Member. Tall blonde girl with freckles across her nose. Can control anything to do with carpentry/Building. Will's girlfriend. Leopardstrike~

Jonah. Death-Bringers Member. A tall, tanned guy with dark hair and blond highlights which flop into his dark hazeland yellow eyes.Controls lightning. Can summon and bend it to his will even if there isnt a storm. Baylee's ex-boyfriend.

Grimm. Death-Bringers Member. Had shaggy light brown hair with green eyes. Always wears jeans and a black t-shirt, with many accessories and assorted jackets. Persuasion He's intimidating. CheeseStar~

Dahlia. Petite brown-haired girl with dark gray eyes. Friendly and sweet, she always has a ready smile on her face. Her skin is always pale, no matter how long she stays under the sun, although she gets rashes easily. No one has ever seen her get furiously angry, although there is rumor that Dahlia has a dangerous side. Hypnotizing others to do what she wants. Her power takes a lot of concentration, and she gets distracted easily. As she matures, however, it gets easier and easier to concentrate when she needs to. Aere~

Jackie and Jack wear a green baggy t-shirt and a pair of jeans and and old pair ot Osiris sneakers they have short brown hair, when Jack takes over the body changes to a boy. Jackie is not a conjoined twin, her brother and he are trapped in the same body, two people in one, lucky for Jack, Jackie is a tom-boy, to determine who is in charge is which way the hat is pointed, if its pointed back, Jack is in charge if in front, Jackie is in charge. Two people trapped in one body. Swiftshadow~

Prim. Life-Givers Second-in-command. Red-haired girl with green eyes. Always wears a striped hair band and some sort of dress. Can make people tell the truth easily under any condition Grimm's twin. CheeseStar~

Xurxo. Life-Givers Healer. Dark-haired teenage boy with long legs. He has dark brown eyes, though he claims them to be black at times. He has a somewhat quiet nature, and conserves his words, choosing them wisely. He speaks sometimes in proverbs, echoing the teachings of his deceased mother and Confucius, whom he respects. He solaces himself in times of stress with his violin, which can always be found in its case slung across his back. He always wears cargo pants or shorts, which contains his medical kit in the pockets. Can draw energy from the air and channel it to heal. He has uncanny healing powers, but cannot revive the dead. Though he might not look like a fighter, he can surprisingly hold his own in fight. He has not yet fully mastered his healing powers, and gets very emotional/discouraged if he fails to heal. Zephyra. Life-Givers Member. Tall, athletic girl with long, dark hair, olive skin, and blue eyes. Fast, intelligent, determined, friendly to those she knows. Agile, surprisingly strong from training with her sister. More trusting than Sala, about 14 years old. Controlling water in all its forms. Sala's sister. Also new to the Life-Givers. Unlike her sister, Zephyra is better with weapons like the sword, dagger, and longbow. Her preferred weapon is her special longbow that holds a dagger hidden in its body. She's ninja like.

Jaden. Life-Givers Member. Dark-haired teenage guy with glass-green eyes. He is tanned all year-round, since he enjoys being outside; being inside all the time makes him feel trapped, since he is very partial to his freedom. He is a natural leader, although he is rather on the quiet side. Control over the air. Jaden excels in all types of weaponry, although he is still experimenting with his power; his power over the air scares him at times, because it is hard to control. When his emotions is running high, it sometimes whirls out of control. (Ex. blows everyone over.) Aere~

Cassandra. Life-Givers Apprentice. She has long blond hair and blue eyes. She is 15 years old. Can change her appearance. (Eyes, hair, height, voice, etc.) Streamfur~

Alexa. Life-Givers Apprentice. Beautiful petite girl with fair skin. She has stunning long brown hair, sometimes she straightens it and sometimes she curls it. She is very shy and sweet around strangers but very fierce and strong. She's in the middle of being a girly girl and somewhat of a tom boy, and is a quick thinker. She is swift and graceful with her movements and has great posture and is very confident. Her age is about 16. Even though she's small and younger she is very fierce. She is kind, sweet and flirty. She is swift, fast and graceful and a great fighter. Controls fire. When she was little her dad had taught her how to use a sword and shield and she is INCREDIBLE at using the sword and a natural at other weapons.
When she's mad her eyes will glow to a bright orange but normally they are a beautiful golden color. Applefur~

Ike. Life-Bringers Apprentice. A young-looking guy with light-colored brown hair that looks red in the sun. Ike has brown-green eyes and short, but slightly messy, hair. He always has an optimistic look on his face and eyebrows often lowered in a michevious way. Ike can multiply himself to make up to 50 clones of himself at the same time. This also means he can do 50 different things and be at 50 different places at the same time. His clones are just like him, only weaker, dumber, and easier to kill. Once someone has killed a clone, Ike can't re-make him, and with each clone killed, he gets weaker. When the last clone is killed, Ike is extremely weak and vulnerable. If he only makes less than 50 though, he is capable of fighting back or running when all are killed. He will still be weakened though. Ike is extremely clever and he has been ever since he was young. He looks young and inexperienced, but because he knows his life is at stake if his clones die, he is very wary and usually only makes a few clones at first.

~You Life-Givers can't expect everything the Death-Bringers are going to do you know.... -.- It takes the fun out of everything.~

Sala turned at a shrill piercing cry reached her ears, a grating shriek that made her wince. "What in the world?" she practically spat. Sala hated--absolutely hated-- being surprised with a sudden noise. Especially when she was expecting everyone else to be asleep! Narrowing her eyes, she shrugged her jacket closer over her shoulders and stalked down the hallway, practically bristling with frigid annoyance. Sala wrenched open the Meeting Room door, grumbling dark thoughts under her breath as she stood beside a wall, separated from the others.

~And now I must RP the awkwardness of Zephyra. D:D~

Zephyra smiled greatfully as Xurxo returned with the two muffins. She took his hand again, enjoying the solid warmth of his presence. It chased the terrifying memories of her dream to the back of her mind like nothing else could. Mind wandering back to the morning in the garden as they walked, it took her a full moment to notice the girl standing in front of them. Unconsciously sidling closer to Xurxo for comfort, Zephyra's grip on his hand tightened as she saw the anger and jealousy in Penny's whole expression. She glared right back at her, her eyes narrowed in a silent challenge.

Xurxo widened his eyes as he saw the war flaming in both Penny and Zephyra's eyes. He panicked inwardly, with the horrifying sense of not knowing what to do. "And as if tensions couldn't be any higher..." he thought to himself. He realized he was crushing the muffin clenched in his free hand, and slipped it into his pocket, hoping that the two girls didn't see his stress level rising. "I wonder if the Death-Givers have to worry about problems like this..." he smiled inwardly, amused at the thought. Trying to avert a mini-war raging in the kitchen, Xurxo tugged Zephyra slightly. "Let's head off towards the meeting room; it looks like most of the Life-Givers are already there..." He let go of Zephyra's hand for a moment and adjusted the violin case on his back, which was bothering him slightly. He walked a few paces forwards and turned back to the two. "You girls coming along? Or are you just going to keep on with that staring contest?"

Zephyra laughed, but it didn't reach her eyes. When Xurxo looked away, she raised a nonchalant eyebrow at Penny. She turned away and headed toward the meeting room, shoulder touching Xurxo's. I have to tell them about the dream... she thought, wrenching her thoughts away from Xurxo. What if it only causes panic though?... And I still don't remember what that Death-Bringer said...

Although Zephyra's eyes weren't friendly, they betrayed her fear. As the other girl turned to leave with Xurxo standing there unmovingly, Penny started following Zephyra, only pausing next to Xurxo, her fringe covering her eyes. "Meet me at my room tonight," she whispered so softly that only he could hear. She kept her distance from him and disappeared out of the kitchen with Zephyra.

The moment they were down the hallway, she placed a hand on the other girl's shoulder. "Zephyra," Penny said quietly. "What's wrong? You look troubled."

Looking back, Xurxo saw Penny lay a hand on Zephyra's shoulder. He was too far away to hear the exchange between them, but he shrugged off the concern, and slipped into the meeting room, hoping he hadn't missed anything majorly important. He crept to the corner and sat down, even though he saw everyone standing. (heh XD) He unslung his violin case from his back and held it in his lap, his fingers tapping out the Cadenza of Hayden's Violin Concerto. "I wonder what life-changing news Jackie has to deliver," he thought to himself sarcastically. "And couldn't it wait until afternoon?" He let out a small yawn and resumed fingering out double stops on his violin case.

Zephyra looked at Penny. She didn't like the other girl, but she knew rivalries had to be put aside in the face of the coming battle. "I'll tell all the Life-Givers what's wrong," she said a bit roughly, shrugging Penny off. "Don't be impatient." She speed walked to the meeting room and located and sat down next to Xurxo, smiling to herself as she saw the bored yawn. Like Xurxo, she didn't care that everyone else was standing. As long as she got to be next to him.

Sala grunted a greeting at Penny. "Being Life-Givers leader doesn't entitle you to scaring everyone out of their wits on a perfectly good morning," she muttered, rubbing her temple with one hand. Sala nodded at Zephyra, immediately noting the haunted look in her eyes. She frowned, gaze flicking to Xurxo and back to Zephyra. What was going on? Sighing, Sala turned her eyes back to Jackie.

Halt leaned back against the counter and nodded at Jonghyun. "Morning." Rather absent-minded and preoccupied with the preparations of the attack to tonight, he got some coffee and left the kitchen with a, "See if anyone else is awake, would you?"

Sala remained completely unnerved. She shrugged. "Must be urgent, although there can't be anything really wrong." Smirking, she added, "Unless they've caught a Death-Bringers scout or something or the other. But we don't even know if they have scouts or not." Rolling her eyes, Sala leaned back against the chair.

"That's good," Halt answered, unsurprised to find Will standing there. He was used to it by now. "Where's Baylee? As the second-in-command, I need to tell her the plans for the attack tonight. I didn't see her last night either. Where did she run off to?" Outwardly, he seemed irritated, but inwardly, he was a little worried. It didn't show of course, as he stalked off to his office muttering.

Jackie glared at Mini, but then tealized the everyone was probably as cranky as she was "Everyone, The Death-Bringers are starting to get more doughty than I had wished, but I want training after everyone is awake, got it?" She asked.

Jack rolled his eyes and walked out "We get it Jackie. Leave us alone some poeple need to take a shower he said exiting the room while removing his shirt.

Madison rubbed her eyes and headed to her room. She grabbed a baggy white T-shirt and a pair of purple shorts she grabbed her laptop and went on her favourite websitr (WCF!)

Xurxo's heart sunk. "More training...?" he groaned. "As if we need a whole meeting to be told to train more-- we do it on a daily basis," he thought darkly. He nudged Zephyra, who sat comfortably beside him. "Aren't you going to tell them about your dream/vision? It might be a good idea to announce it before everyone gets grumpy about more training..." he whispered. He thought back to Penny's offer to meet in her room at night. "Maybe she's discovered something new," he pondered, and decided to pay her a visit later in the night.

Jaden groaned. From the sounds coming from the Meeting Room, they had already started. He had been too slow. Hesitantly, he reached for the handle and tugged it open, slipping in through the crack in the now open door. Hoping he didn't attract too much attention from the meeting, Jaden quickly took his place behind Mini. Jaden had managed to catch the word training as he'd entered. Didn't they train everyday anyways? he asked himself, fidgeting.

She told everyone about the dream, decribing the darkness, blood, wailing, and screaming in detail. She finished with the part about the Death-Bringer, and how he must have said something really important. "I just can't remember..." She said, frustrated.

As soon as she heard the word "training", Cassandra started to think about something she wanted to practice during training that day. She wanted to see how long she could go unnoticed, as someone else. She wondered if she could look like different people all day, without anyone realizing it was her. It would be easy to pretend to be one of Ike's clones, but he might notice her, and she didn't think any of the death bringers would have a similar power to his. She looked around the room, deciding who to change into first. She listened as Zephyra told everyone about her dream and then started thinking about that.

Jackie glared and dissmissed tthe meeting, no one seemed to respect her as leader, she might as well let Sala take over, everyone loved her. She stomped ino her bedroom and flopped into her bed and she changed her outfit, she wore a blck T-shirt and jeans, she put on a denim over coatthen decided to put on yoga pants.

Jack groaned,she had to wake hem early for that, he forgot to put a shirt on before he came (Ignore my last Jack post) to the meeting rom he yelled into Jackies room "Everyone hates you!!!" as loud as he could Jackie came in and electrucuted the floor she stomped away and the floor cracked "Uh oh." she said he walked over to the hole and fell in he landed with an "Oof." sound he looked around "Caves?" he asked himself "That's weird. No one seems to be using them." he decided not to get the floor fixed he'll just go there when he's mad he put his arms to his side and fanned out his hands and jumped sending him out of the cave. "I'll get a ladder later." he whispered and went to lie on his bed.

Madison walked around not knowing hat to do,while she walked around she went invisible on and off, she was bored, waiting to attack the Life-Givers, she would have to put Jackie aside, she would probably be fighting Halt anyway. She skipped to the tree her and Titus had talked and sighed with happiness she lied down and drifted to sleep.

"So anyways..." Zephyra finished weakly, "I, um, think we should watch out... What do you guys think?" Not wanting the attention, she sat back down and took Xurxo's hand. The warmth of the contact washed over her as she thought, Even a battle can't separate us.

Sala frowned and stared at Zephyra from across the table. Why hadn't she told her? Xurxo didn't look surprised. She shrugged inwardly. I guess she trusts Xurxo too, Sala thought. "I guess," she finally said, watching as Jackie stormed out of the Meeting Room. Or the dream could've been created out of fear, worry, and memories of earlier battles. Deciding not to voice the thought, Sala sat back again.

Mini glanced sideways at Jaden then looked at Jackie and then at Zephyra. She groaned."More training," she grumbled. She hated training. Swords and stuff weren't her thing. Hand to hand combat with her super-speed. Now that was something she loved. She suddenly realized what Zephyra had said. "Wait, what?" she asked, a bit lost. "You had a dream about a Death-Bringer?"

Jonghyun yawned and sat down on a chair. He used his telekensis (However you spell it Razz

) to open the fridge. He brought some cereal and milk to him and made a bowl of cereal, the whole time staying in his seat. He looked around at everyone else in the kitchen (They're still in the kitchen, right? xD) then started to eat.

Xurxo took Zephyra's hand and squeezed it reassuringly. "So you dream about Death-Giver guys, and not of me?" he joked, a playful smile evident in the corners of his mouth. He stood up, slinging his violin case across his back. "Want to train together?" he offered. He waited for a moment, and then added, "Well, it's still early...maybe you'd like to practice violin together? We can train in the afternoon..." Xurxo was actually anxious to see Zephyra play on his Strad, and wanted to see if she was really as good as he thought.
